I brought this up when I saw Sandi and she said I should post it so here goes.
about 3 years ago when I was in high school I was working at a McDonald's, my sister worked there as well. One day I go to work at 5:30 and my sister comes in at 7. about an hour later my mother calls and talks to my sister, who then comes to me and says "Gramage, mom wants to know who that friend of yours on the couch is". I reply "what are you talking about?"
there had been noone on the couch when I left.
My now very concerned sister explains to my mom that we have no idea who this strange man alone in our house with her is, so she gets off the phone to go wake him up to find out who he is. a bit later she calls back. What happened is that the guy who lived in the house across the street from us had gotten back from a night of drinking at about 6 an gone into the wrong house! Not overly concerned by this, he invites himself to have coffee with my mom before going home, and just as he gets out our door his mother walks out the door of her house. She was not impressed.
Now the fun part for me is the drunks brother also worked at McDonald's, so when he came in me and my sister had lots of fun joking with him about what happened. He didn't find it as funny though.
