Seems now you have to pay a buck for air at most gas stations. I know it's supposed to be for charity, but really? Stopped on the way home and had 60 cents in change. Charity should be voluntary, not tied to safety.

Canadian Tire. About $15.00. Little tire pump you plug into your accesssory. You'll be safe.Seems now you have to pay a buck for air at most gas stations. I hate those things, they're so noisy and take about 10 minutes to inflate one tire. Your car has to be idling for it to run at full power, very wasteful.Canadian Tire. About $15.00. Little tire pump you plug into your accesssory. You'll be safe.
Did you still have enough air in the tires to get to the church? ... or were you running on the rims?Petro Canada station right?
The first time I noticed they wanted a buck to use the machine I called the guy out from the store and wrapped the air hose around his throat and strangled him with it. Then I kicked him the ribs and face and followed that up by running over him a couple of times.
I looked out the window and he motioned me to come closer so he could speak. I got out of the car and leaned down and in between gasps he said the fine print at the bottom of the sign states that if you do not have a dollar, to see the attendant for use of the machine.
I apologized and took off...I was late for church.
Most of these machines are installed and "maintained" by third party companies and not the gas stations themselves. If you loose your $ in these machines the gas station won't take responsibility for it even though it's a service provided on their property. As far as that charity thing goes the charities are lucky to get only a few cents on the dollar after the third party companies take out their operating "expences" / profit.
