I always loved the blue-eyed soul of The Righteous Brothers. In my years of collecting music, some obscure and some not, I came across quite a few songs that were done in their style. I'm gonna post some of them in this thread.

First, of course, two or three cuts by The Righteous Brothers to give some of you youngsters a taste of their style, in case you are not familiar, such as:

Man, how could you leave ourt Unchained Melody.

As much of a headcase as he was Phil Spector and his Wall of Sound did a great job of producing them.

Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield, the blonde one. His clean cut look belied the druggie that he was who overdosed.

And lastly, Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers as a solo performer on "Brown Eyed Woman" from 1968.

Shack, you're right. I have all their stuff. Unchained Melody was killer. Mostly just posting other groups that emulated them....
