DAVE have you ever read "By Way of Deception" about the Mossad? Do you read Milton?

My all-time favorite when I was a teen was "Animal Farm", and total classic.

Everyone should read 1984. It is the most important book I've ever read (and I've read Animal Farm too).

The book shows how the debasement of the language can limit thoughts of the citizenry. It also shows how the justification of continual war is used to reduce the debate of the citizens over how the government is operating. "You must support the state in this time of war." Does this sound familiar?

Also look at www.truthout.org

"Sage Advice", thanks for the advice ... nice cool site with some foot fetish literature ...

Personally, I like "Venus in Furs" by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch ... hehehehe ... its a freaking "classic" but I get hard-ons' everytime a read the damn thing ...

And to be more contemporary, there is a book called "Fucksucker" by Geoff Nicholson ... its not a bad read ... but not the greatest ...

BTW, anyone read Rousseau's "Confessions" where he writes how much he enjoys being spanked by his maid??? LOL

Oh yeah, and Goethe had a foot fetish too ... LOL :D

Hey Sub Dave, I haven't read Rousseau's Confessions but have read the Social Contract. A must read. I a
huge fan of 19 th century English Lit., particularly J. Austen. Her dealings with feminism at that time period was down
to an art as opposed to the "in your face" of today. The intellectual discourse of verbalizing ones thought
was painted with dry wit and subtlety.

Marquis de Sade, anyone?

He is not for me because he "abuses" women. Where I like to be abused by women ...

You like feminist stuff, try Wollstonecraft, its still "contemporary" even though it was written long ago ... she is the shit man !!!
