I'd like to see the actual stats on that particular statement@Perry said the average Toronto sex worker when he was on the job entered the sex trade at age 14.
What about Trudeau? Didn’t he promise a review of C-36 starting sometime this year?I'd like to see the actual stats on that particular statement@
It pisses me off that police seem to recognize visibility as an issue impacting sex worker safety, yet our legislators keep trying to push the industry further and further underground.
It's based on misrepresentation of studies done on sex work. Here's an explanation of how that made up stats ends up being constantly used in the U.S.: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...cking-at-13-years-old/?utm_term=.bdbf59822ac3I'd like to see the actual stats on that particular statement@

When the Conservatives enacted Bill 36 a lot of terb members immediately started to support Trudeau in the belief that he would scrap this legislation and possibly even legalize sex work. If you had paid attention to what Trudeau has publicly stated on the subject you would know he looks at sex work as violence against women so he’ll never do anything to change the situation. No he never promised any such thing. No politician will touch it unless directed by the courts.
in that second article, the researchers sum up their findings in this way: "29 per cent of the sex workers interviewed said they had engaged in sex work before they turned 19"It's based on misrepresentation of studies done on sex work. Here's a report about one of the most recent and serious studies done here in Canada: https://www.macleans.ca/news/canada...-study-sheds-new-light-on-sex-work-in-canada/
I recall his Justice Minister at the time saying she would review C-36 in 2019. Also, at the last Liberal conference a motion was passed to look at decrimalizing sexwork.Trudeau did say in an interview once that he felt C-36 was the wrong way to deal with sex work. He didn’t ever to my knowledge explicitly say he would change it. I wouldn’t expect Prine Minister Drama Teacher to change anything, personally.
It was the Neoconservatives that brought it in and it's been laxed under the Liberals. I bet if Harper had won again, the land of milk and honey would be alot different today. Probably closer to the USA style of moral abolistionist trying to shut down consentual sex work. When the Conservatives enacted Bill 36 a lot of terb members immediately started to support Trudeau in the belief that he would scrap this legislation and possibly even legalize sex work. Possibly, but then then "DaveList" will emerge, and when that's done, "MarksList" will emerge, etc...I predict LeoList doesn't make it through 2019
I said it was a better platform and had less scammers, with no bullshit to look at the number. Was I wrong in what I said????? Are those three things not true???? LOLAs a test I just did a search in vipfavours for every independent escort working in Toronto today - I got 33 (plus one dude)....basically vipfavours is a crap website. Leolist isn't great but there's a helluva lot more than 33 choices on it.
