Saturday pn my social media in the north it said 6 barrie boys around 22 years old good looking boys saying there all missing and it had the parents pleading with help I thought right away its a crash because I cant see 6 of them overdosing and I doubt 6 got into a fight ......this is so sad and tragic I hate to say it but I feel that its drinking or drugging and driving UNLESS a dear or animal caused them to swerve cause we get lots of wild animals by the road in the north. may these young men rip.may there families stay strong.traggic.
Very sad. Unless the vehicle went into water and they all drowned it is almost impossible to imagine everyone dying in a one car accident unless the vehicle was going at a very high speed and ran into a huge tree or a rock formation. I guess those details will eventually come out.
Yes, I wondered about this myself. Six people in one vehicle: must have been a minivan or SUV with 3rd row seating. And no one survives???
I heard it was several hours between the time of the accident and when they were found. It's possible one or more person survived the initial accident but died soon afterwards from their injuries.
I`d imagine so if that huge hole that the City Panic 24 chopper showed was involved, some kinda` pipe work underway. Once again...young driver, series of poor decisions, terrible outcome.

I heard the vehicle was a veloster which I found odd when it said 6 people. This is tragic to say the least.
Reminds me of an accident back in 1984 where 6 teens died in Milton after colliding with a train. Kids were between 14 and 16 years old and alcohol was involved.

Young people always have that "nothing could go wrong" mentality...free spirited and fun loving...I really wish at a young age, kids should really keep an eye on their well being over fun. you can either be killed, your friends, or other commuters. They may not solely be at fault, it could be the vehicle, malfunctioning, slippery road, avoiding another car etc etc...a lot of factors...
They drove into a deep hole on a constriction site. Have no doubt they knew the road was closed but decided to tempt fate. They paid with their lives. Like the 3 kids who died in Brampton the other week, easily preventable.
9 dead for no reason at all other that shear stupidity. The actions of 2 individuals took 7 other lives...senseless.

Not sure what is a "veloster" but when I was growing up in rural Quebec and later in university we could easily squeeze 6 young people inside a regular size sedan. The girls (who are normally smaller) would sit on the guys' laps.
