3D Photos

Best Buy is advertising the FUJI REAL 3D W3 camera which is supposed to be able to shoot 3D photos and 3D videos. Does anybody have any experience with this camera? How does one view the 3D images, on the camera monitor only, HD TV, computer monitor, etc.?

I went to Best Buy and took a look at this camera. The 3D stills look ok on the onboard monitir but not sure how it would look on a large screen 3D TV or computer monitor. A 3D print is available at $7.00 each. Didn't try the 3D video as there wasn't any room left in the internal memory.

Apparently, these cameras are the next wave.

Do you need a 3D TV?

I have doubts.

Do you ever remember the first Digital Cameras that debut back in 1995 or so I guess?
We have one at work that use 3-1/2" disk. ANd it's still works. Don't know the resolution.

My point is that 3D camera's are like the first Digital camera that appear back in 1995.

i'm tired of all this crap coming out these days, i dont give a shit about 3d and would never pay for it, my tv is fine just the way it is.

here here, I'm not going to overhaul my system just to have the latest/greatest. If you get caught up in that, you are in an neverending cycle of spending. The consumer has to be able to choose what is "good" enough for them and their budget. If "they" force me to buy the 3d shit then I'm going to take up my arms lol. Btw the same goes for computers, i3,i7 what's wrong with a quad for everyday use? While I'm at it. I'll throw in the software manufact and antivirus comps.

You guys do make a couple of interesting points. 3D is probably still in its infantcy stage. I'll wait until they develop the technology where special glasses are not needed before buying anything 3D. Also, I agree we don't always must need to have the latest and greatest. For example, I have a 10 year old computer and my cell is just a basic cell without any of the frills.
