38th CARIBANA FESTIVAL?

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to know if there is any terb's people Females and males are going to party all weekend in Toronto?

Well since CARIBANA is basically in my blood. I'm a Trini. I would be down in toronto. See all the booty shakeing as I can, and if i've had enough to drink. I would be doing the same. I bet there are some ladies from here that is going to the festival.

Not to slag you friend, I am sure you a great guy, but the black communitee in Toronto needs to get a handle on crime. (How, I have no idea.) Caribana is just a shooting or ten waiting to happen.

now come on it's not that bad, you make it sound like some "gangsta movie"
things do or have sometimes gotten a bit out of control but it's still a fairly safe festival IMO

I'm not going either. For me it's like a lot of other big events here in TO. Like Pride week. After you been to a few... the excitement/novelty wears off.

Now Carnival in Trinidad... that might be something to see. I have a friend who went last year (or was that two years ago, lol.) She brought back lots of pics... it looked great to me.

Shootings can happen anywhere in Toronto, like what happened on monday night. 6 separate shootings in over two hours.

I think it's a great festival since it brings lotsa money into the downtown hotels and nightclubs.

But yes please stay home if you are so paranoid of getting shot down, and try not to ruin the fun for people just out to party.

Caribana is a huge event with many celebrations around town. Yes I have been to 'Caribana' and frankly find some of the ignorance is the ones who don't know a damn thing about what it's all about...
