Lol. The angels have literally hordes of puppet clubs full of underlings in their 20s and 30s absolutely dying to make their bones and get promoted. No one has the man power that the angels have and these guys have been entrenched in criminality for decades. Fucking with the angels is a death sentence. Once the 50-100 gang members get wiped off the map the angels will have absolute control. It's literally just a matter of time.
The thing is the Angels used the street gang kids to do the street work. They are getting older and want to remove themselves from the dirty work. Just like 20-30 years ago when the Italians used the Angels to do their dirty work. An internal war followed which gave way more power to the Angels. Now the street gang wants to do the same. Quite a typical pattern in the drug criminality world. As long as they kill only between themselves we should not give a fuck right?
The difference is the angels have an in-exhaustible supply of soldiers, weapons and money.
They do indeed. But will it be enough? What the street gangs are doing right now, in the Quebec City area, is directly related to what Mexico's gang did to take over control of the drug market. A regime of absolute terror that did not respect any non-written rules.
Will it be enough? For this Quebec City street gang I think not. They will be exterminated. But it does ring a bell to all other street gangs who see here a way to gain power. A way not to be only the street-level executor.
Once the angels are done making an example of these guys its very unlikely any other group will attempt to follow suit. Understand this, the angels are a global organization with a reputation to uphold and protect. If hypothetically this gang managed to get the upper hand the national president would step in and go nuclear on any offending organization just to discourage the next group. The angels can't afford to continuously fight wars with subordinates and would make an example so the next group considering their ambitions would not want to risk absolute annihilation.

Dig deeper, Wooley was stepping on toes territory wise and when it came time to choose a side he was dragging his feet. When in doubt, take em out. Let's look at history. They have not even come close to falling in more than 5 decades. The are the largest, most successful criminal organization on the planet with nobody coming close to being second. Somehow I'm doubting there will be a downfall anytime soon.
Despite ALL the things people may “know”… including LE… HA will always define themselves as a club of Harley riding enthusiasts and nothing else. That being said, there will always be an expectation of responsibility by LE to do what they are obligated to do regardless of who made the complaint/request. HA wants the cops to do their jobs and stop the criminals… because they know that LE cannot just turn their backs.
A journelist, writing an article and wanting it to get read says his 'sources' claim the angels are urging police to act hardly qualifies as the truth but I'll play devils advocate, pun intended. Hypothetically if the angels did do that, what do you think makes more sense and is more in the best interest of the public at large, making the police do their job or launching a full scale war the same way the did in the 90s where a hundred people died including a kid? If the angels told the police to get busy they did so to save lives on both sides as well as innocent bystanders, not because they fear a street gang with a few dozen members.
