Jacques Peretti made a documentary about the ass fucking British people are taking courtesy of their government. Inviting foreign investors in, by showing them loopholes to get their money in, to tear down affordable housing and replace it with luxury apartment. Mostly sitting empty. They prefer bricks and mortar investments because they can physically see where their money is.
Meanwhile a large percentage of the British public is living paycheque to paycheque with little put aside for retirement.

There are the consequences of governments ruled by globalists and elitists for the past two plus decades.
Completely oblivious to the challenges facing the working and middle classes.

UK is a hotbed of climate strike. Rising poverty could be one climate
solution to pacify climate fanatics there.

You are right. Manufacturing decimated in Britain. They had it all and threw it away. Meanwhile, South Korea has gone from one of the poorest countries in the 1960s to the 12th largest global economy based on innovation and manufacturing.

"The masses have nothing to lose, be afraid!"

This is what most should start to understand. And yes be kind of afraid.

In the summer of 2020 I had a house to rent. I received more then 500 calls/messages for renting the house in a week. People were desperate. I had people crying on the phone to get the house.

With inflation things are even worst now. If too many people can't make end of month it simply won't go well. In survival mode you do bad things. It's just the way it is.

You know in porn actresses or actors will always say no one had planned to end up in porn... The opportunity just happened and they took it.

It's the fucking same if you are piss poor (for any reason) you will do things to survive. To feed your family. And it may end up being bad things because you have no more fucking choices.

I do not think people who grouped together to storm a walmart or any other store do it as a choice. They fucking do it for survival. And they are so many of them it becomes easy thing to do.

So back to the fact that it is indeed quite bad that the masses is getting to a point where they have nothing to lose...

Don’t think we are on the brink yet Jalimon, but I do think it’s a question of when, not if. Used to think not in my lifetime. Now, I’m not so sure. There so many signs, especially in the U.S.. Here in Canada we are seeing the beginning.

Those that don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it. “Let them eat cake”

The masses have nothing to lose but their chains is what you are saying. A variation of this is inscribed on the tomb of your hero Karl Marx and Marxists have been predicting apocalypse ever since. It hasnt happened and will never happen because of the safety net built into our system - welfare, food banks, child benefits, etc. If you hate our system so much, perhaps you should move to Cuba, the communist utopia.

You mean people need televisions and other electronics to survive. I guess if you put enough mustard on an iPad it could taste OK but not sure of nutritional value.

I agree, this is what happens when you let right wing elitists rule.
All they do is increase the gap between rich and poor.

I`m always interested in the POV of Eric Kam, economics prof. at TMU. We are yet to feel the effect of even the first interest rate hike from.25%, it takes about 2 years, and with only 18% of mortgages renewed in the last couple years there is a large bubble about to explode. And commercial real estate is faring worse. Over half the working population is 200 bucks or less from going over a cliff monthly and would be unable to come up with a grand in an emergency. Add in the crushing cost of food, rent, vehicles and on and on and we are positioned for some severe problems

Thankfully we do not have a Conservative Government like the Brits do. All they managed under several years of their tenor is to drive a once successful economy into the ground with idiotic decisions like Brexit and several other tax breaks to the elitists, while pushing more and more of the burden on the middle and low incomes.

Ask many of the British Expatriates in Canada who are being shafted by this Conservative Government with respect to their State Pensions that are frozen and not pro-rated. This despite these pensioners who worked their socks off to benefit the UK Economy!!

I'm not so sure. These people live in a bubble. Like Hollywood or famous athletes. Completely out of touch with the common man.

It has nothing to do with right or left. The gap between rich and poor was widened under 8 years of Obama just like it did under 8 years of W. Funnily enough that trend was reversed under Trump's first 3 years before the pandemic hit.

The only thing rump did while in office was give millionaires and billionaires more tax breaks.
The UK has had conservative rule for how long now?
Its been downhill since Thatcher and Boris and Brexit just made it that much worse.
