The production went a little crazy the last 2 seasons with providing a climax EVERY hour.

What occurred to me in that regard is that they could end the "hour" at any of several points during an episode. For instance there's usually a buildup to a commercial break that they could just as easily end the week on.

VERY TRUE..SAD BUT TRUE.. But as to 24, how many seasons can one man live like this...you mean every criminal in the world is that bad of a shot...by the way 20 bucks says Katherine wins AM..They made it look like Taylor killed her last night...but hey it is tv so anything can happen..
