I agree, there are 55 Russians in the NHL, should we kick them out? Ovechkin is a proud Russian, I’m not sure he supports the invasion thou.
Where I live, London, the Knights have 2 Russians on the team...I wonder how they will be received?
Depends if the Russians escalate the conflict... If it's just limited to Ukraine nobody is going to get kicked out anywhere. Cross into a NATO country however and oh boy are things going to get really crazy.

* Game Winning Goals: Meaningless. A GWG is the goal that put your team ahead for good. Say the Leafs were leading the Sens 5 - 1. Mathews scored the first two goals and Marner scored the third. Ottawa gets a goal on the last second of the third period and the game ends 5 - 2. Marner would be credited with the GWG. This is stupid.
* Penalty Minutes: What does that prove?
* Saves & Shots Against: This isn't good, this just shows what a lousy defensive=wise team a goalie plays on.
I would rather see:
* Overtime scoring leaders
* Shoot-out goal scoring leaders
* Crucial Goal Scoring Leaders: Players who score a goal that either ties or puts their team ahead in the third period.
* Assists broken down into first and second assist
* Ice time Leaders

The Metro Division is almost as equally stacked. Sometimes there is an advantage of crossing over to the other division in the first two rounds, but nothing clear this year.
The Leafs could easily end up in fourth and crossover to play Carolina in the first. Going either division is going to be tough. But I think I would rather go through Carolina and Pitt instead of Tampa and Florida for example. So Leafs stagnating for a few weeks but ramping up at the end and ending up in Metro might not be a bad scenario.
I don’t think I have ever seen a conference playoff situation as anti-climatic as the East right now. The 8 playoff teams are basically locked in.
For Toronto winning or losing right now should not be seen as crucial. Health, getting a goalie going, tinkering playing style should be their focus before season end .
