Expect Montreal to play a full grinding game. They'll look for Danault to grind Matthews to neutral. They'll look for turnovers to win the game 2-1. Montreal plays a more balanced ice time with their 6 D and forwards also.“Montreal Canadiens head coach Dominique Ducharme confirmed Tuesday that Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Cole Caufield and Alexander Romanov won’t be in the lineup for Game 1 in Toronto”
Yeah!
That Caufield is becoming too dangerous.
TSN showed a clip from today's Hab's practice. Weber took part but not in any contact drills and rarely handled the puck or took shots. His hand/wrist injury does not appear to be fully healed. Not sure how much of a factor he may be in Game 1.i think habs come out hitting right from the get go. if weber plays, it,ll be a big boost to this club.
I hope they do, Leafs need to be pushed out of their comfort zone.i think habs come out hitting right from the get go. if weber plays, it,ll be a big boost to this club.
The would have to get to the second round. Game 6 is May 27.Montreal to allow 2,500 fans in the stands for games after May 28, if they last that long.
I hope they do, Leafs need to be pushed out of their comfort zone.
If they make it out of their division, it's going to be heavy going out there.
Game 6 is May 29.The would have to get to the second round. Game 6 is May 27.
Ya, I rechecked the schedule. The Leafs have an incentive to finish it in game 5.Game 6 is May 29.
Let the lady dream a little.I'm fascinated to know how or why Edmonton would trade him
You mean Thursday. Can't wait until tomorrow night - this is gonna be good.
The same reason some clowns thought Sidney Crosby would end up in Montreal...hometown or in Crosby's case, favourite team growing up.I'm fascinated to know how or why Edmonton would trade him
It might happen when he's 40, like Thronton and Marleau, and for league Min.The same reason some clowns thought Sidney Crosby would end up in Montreal...hometown or in Crosby's case, favourite team growing up.
Yes, the Scabs will try to grind and rough it up...they’ll take a bunch of penalties and Simmonds will say “who wants to go” and that’ll take care of that.Big upset coming, Habs in 7,, Habs will grind it out and wear down the leafs, Price returns to form.. Leafs choke again in the first round....
I definitely agree with that assessment.Hence why Foligno a better fit on this team than a Hall. Montreal cannot match Leafs in skill so why even try. They're going to play the only way they have a chance. There's no surprise there. In later rounds if Leafs get there it'll be teams with high end skill. Teams who like to push for offense. Teams like Edmonton, TB, Colorado, Pittsburgh, Panthers, Hurricanes. Even Vegas and Washington are offensive teams. Boston has the superline and now Hall. Hence Foligno again who can defend.
