Raptors lose to Boston in Boston, after we go on a 6 game winning streak and they snap their 3 game losing streak. Boston plays much better at home. Strange for a team that is supposed to be so talented and experienced now. Any series mixing Toronto, Milwaukee, PHily, Indiana, and Boston could go 6-7 games with an edge to the home team. I think Toronto and Milwaukee are still the more elite road teams and favoured.
The Raps would have won last night's game if JV had been healthy. Neither of the Celtics postmen can match up against him. When will he return to action?
woulda, coulda, should have won, they still loss, I hope Masai gets a quality 3 point shooter at the trade deadline, 3 point shooting is too inconsistent if they want to win the East.
I've seen reports of possible JV, and Delon Wright for Bradley Beal. It's enticing. I think we might have to give up on the project called Delon Wright. He's a decent back up point guard, some offense, and some defense, but I'm not sure he'll ever have the grit to play big minutes at point guard. I'm willing to give up Jonas, but we need someone to shore up the interior.
Bradley Beal gives us consistent 25, 5 and 5 from our 2 guard. Along with Lowry running the point, and Kawhi. The problem is whether we get Beal for the long term or do we lose him and Kahwi at the end of the season. I'll leave it up Masai.

So we get Beal for 3 guys that can play, now comes the off season and Beal doesn't resign, nor does Leonard, Lowry is probably moved, Raps have 0 draft picks, guess we bring back Bargnani and become league patsies!
yup you are right! I still would not make that trade. Delon maybe add Miles and perhaps Powell or Munroe. Doubt Washington would buy that package and Raps currently would have to add future draft picks, which IMO, is the wrong thing to do. Beal has been around so long(2012) thought he was older than he is(24)!
Raps win pretty easy again without Leonard. No Leonard again tonight against the Pacers. If he has chronic problem there is no sense breaking the team up to get another player. I don't see Beal as a guy that can carry team while a healthy Leonard can.
You have to start wondering how healthy is Leonard? Will his body stand up to the rigors of a full NBA schedule? Will his value to suitors diminish if it appears he has a chronic problem? My guess is he has will still have value and will still be wanted especially by a contender. He has heart and there is no question as to the effort he plays with. I find it difficult to see a guy with that much talent and heart be diminished by injury. I still hope he stays but my guess is he moves west.
I personally hope Kawhai & Danny Green resigns !
My gut instinct tells me this "load management" strategy was talked about before the trade went down and is all part of Masai's master plan for Kawhai and Danny to resign in 2019

Kawhi and OG will play tonight in Houston. I am hoping that OG's personal problems will be resolved soon. You need OG playing as much as possible before the playoff.

Toronto fans can keep dreaming, AD is NOT coming to the 6ix. AD and Lebron have the same agent, I am sure the deal is in the works, Lebron's camp also wants to fire the coach, what Lebron wants Lebron gets. Remember the trade deadline last year, he completely revamped the Cavs and took them to the finals.
Not so fast. NO can wait to trade AD till the offseason. By then teams like Boston can get in the fray for AD. Raps would love to get their hands on AD at trade deadline before BOS are free to trade for AD in the summer.
