Anyone planning on watching the Rap's exhibition game tonight, starts @ 1 A.M.? Should have a big TV audience all insomniacs!
Bruno another HOF night at the office ... 0 points 3 Turnovers ... The Raps want to shoot more 3's this year ... 36 last night ... Only problem with that style ... You have to be good at it ... 6-36 last night .

Looked at the box score...Masai time to admit you were wrong about Bruno and send him home! That line up the Raps put out last night was at best, suspect. If the plan this season, was to rely on the 3 pointers quick put plan B into effect.

The plan should be too utilize JV more I think ... Everyone is going to small line up and he could have a field day in the paint ..

I think Serge Ibaka will be the next Carol for fans in T.O ... Bruno another zero night ... 2 for 18 in the preseason so far ...

Powel is getting the big $$$ 4 years 42 million ... That's is good for a second round pic cause really Bruno has been making Millions $$$$ and Powel's salary in his career so far is around 800,000

Watched a few minutes last night, needed a program as I didn't know who most of the Raps were. Saw part of the third quarter,PATHETIC!
Best part of the TSN broadcast was the Portland broadcast team NO Armstrong and his inane comments!

Been following the NBA for about 12+ years and heavily following it the last 3. Our starting lineup is solid, allstar calibre backcourt (pg, sg), solid rim protection in Ibaka and a good offensive center in JV. Our bench is fairly decent too with Powell, Siakim, and Poeltl. The biggest issue with the team is coaching. People have been praising Dwayne Casey because of the success the Raps have had the last 3 seasons but honestly that's more to do with Lowry and Derozan bursting into the scene as quality players. The team lacks a true identity. We use Golden States dual ball screens to set plays in motion and claim to be a ball movement oriented squad and then play heavy Isolation when we're down. A lot of close wins come from Derozan being a midrange assassin or Lowry bailing us out with a heavily contested fading 3pt shot. Casey is a liability when it comes to crunch time because all he does is tell Lowry or Derozan to iso and hope for the best. Even though they are our best two players, we need to move forward with the rest of the elite teams and recognize the best players don't always have the best shot. We will no doubt make the playoffs but as a top 4 seed is unlikely given how good Washington and Milwaukee have gotten. Hopefully Casey proves me wrong this year. Also stop drafting long term projects that aren't amounting to anything! Looking at you Bruno and Bebe

I don't envy Cassey sometimes . He has benefit of having a allstar PG but Lowry is also a all star pain in the ass when things are going the way he likes . This team is fucked if they want to play like Golden State and the Cavs ... The Cavs and Warriors play like they do cause they have Cury and 3 point specialist . Don't make DeRozan something he isn't

Raps cut 3, Bruno still with them.

Tonight Detroit. Hope the Raps play their regular season starters and their bench for a decent portion of the game.
Also hope this years #1 pick, Anunoby, is available and plays, need to see what he can do.
Game is on TSN, hope Armstrong has laryngitis!
Lot of "hope(s)" there!

Wow got 2 of 3 of my "hopes"!
Friggin' Armstrong still yapping for the sake of yapping. He must get paid by the word!

They need to either give him minutes to show he's NBA material and worth investing time into or just dump him for some second round picks. At this rate he's barely a roster filler

Pretty fun game against the Pistons the other night. You know who Powell kind of reminds me of? Pre-injury Derrick Rose. Not saying he's gonna be MVP or anything, but those explosive drives to the rim look similar.

Do you really believe you could get a second round pick for him? Just dump him, he is not getting closer, still 2 years away from being 2 years away!

Enjoyed last night's telecast! Hard to figure out how good or bad a team is by watching exhibition games. No doubt Miles will be huge coming off the bench as he is a legitimate 3 point shooter. Lot of questions about the bench. Siakim not NBA ready and if Ibaka goes down there is a huge hole. IMO Bebe should play ahead of Siakim and he is suspect. Anunoby certainly has potential. Once he found the range, dropped some 3's and started to play with confidence. Powell looks good and Wright getting better. JV appears to be in shape and ready to compete
Last two exhibition games against the Bulls and Pistons and weren't much of a test. Think fans will have a better idea of what the Raps will do once the regular season gets going.

I think expectations low for this Raptor team but they might suprise us .... Although with Warriors in the league .. Aren't we all playing for second place .
