Been following the NBA for about 12+ years and heavily following it the last 3. Our starting lineup is solid, allstar calibre backcourt (pg, sg), solid rim protection in Ibaka and a good offensive center in JV. Our bench is fairly decent too with Powell, Siakim, and Poeltl. The biggest issue with the team is coaching. People have been praising Dwayne Casey because of the success the Raps have had the last 3 seasons but honestly that's more to do with Lowry and Derozan bursting into the scene as quality players. The team lacks a true identity. We use Golden States dual ball screens to set plays in motion and claim to be a ball movement oriented squad and then play heavy Isolation when we're down. A lot of close wins come from Derozan being a midrange assassin or Lowry bailing us out with a heavily contested fading 3pt shot. Casey is a liability when it comes to crunch time because all he does is tell Lowry or Derozan to iso and hope for the best. Even though they are our best two players, we need to move forward with the rest of the elite teams and recognize the best players don't always have the best shot. We will no doubt make the playoffs but as a top 4 seed is unlikely given how good Washington and Milwaukee have gotten. Hopefully Casey proves me wrong this year. Also stop drafting long term projects that aren't amounting to anything! Looking at you Bruno and Bebe
