Wonky: Last night vs Lakers, Warriors were without Curry Thompson and Green. Iggy started, but West still out. Oh yeah, Lakers lost!
Lakers are a cluster fuck. I can't see Lebron leaving Cleveland for the Lakers. But I could see him leaving.... just a different destination.

Agree frank he leaves the Cavs, possibly a sign and trade, to ??????. LA is supposedly in the mix, but I don't think they are close, Philly, maybe there young guys are developing. Here's one I heard, Raptors, they move Ibaka and Lowery to give them financial space, Raps are fine at PG with Wright and Fred V. Think it is a long shot but.......u never know!

Raps get by the Pacers last night, wasn't pretty but the got it done,. Tonight against the Mavs they go for 11 in a row which, should it happen, would tie the team record, I hope the Raps show up from the get go, these come from behind bust your ass 4th quarter wins are hard on the old guys bar. Almost ran out of ice!

All in for 23 to the 416!!!! I would be shocked if Lebron goes to the Lakers.. Even with Lebron on the Lakers they would have almost zero chance to get by Houston and or Golden State.

Beat the Mavs in OT without Lowery(rested). OG back but rusty. Typical NBA officiating....terrible! Take the W, Raps worked their asses off to get it. OKC Sunday, that will be a test. A Raps win will set a team record for longest winning streak @ 12!

JV playing by far the best basketball of his NBA career. Shooting rebounding blocks he is doing it all, great to watch!

D, if you've caught any games the past week around the league, refs are also getting ready for playoffs. They're letting plays go and physicality is back in vogue. Less whistles and more bumping happening. Good for the Raps to play thru this now and succeed.

Life as an elite team means OKC will come in ready to rumble. Raps will have played three games in 66 hours come tipoff tomorrow so they'll have to play thru that too. And another back to back to follow this. This has been a crazy stretch of Games sched-wise since AS break with 18 in 27 days before the next break. (Knock wood) So far so good though and hope against hope they still have something left in tank tomorrow. Let's go Raps!:preggers:

Thought the officials had put the whistles away(pretty much), in the OT! D

Yes I fully expect to see a Raptor team primed and ready for the Thunder. It should be awesome basketball!

Guys always want to go to LA. It's one of the places you get the most exposure, for basketball, for Hollywood, and for business. He could go there and other moves would surely follow to make them better.

Hey I'm sure the Raptors like all teams will make an offer. Even if it's just to kick tires.

Today's game was a mixed bag. On the one hand JV played well and it was interesting to see several consecutive possessions where the ball went through him.
Poetl and Siakim are nice bonus points. Ibaka killed us..... shot well under his average which made the difference in such a close game.

Defensively, need to handle Westbrook and Adams better. I'd rather have the Thunder try and beat me with Adams taking shots than RW.

Adams is cheap. But maybe some of the Raptor bigs should take a page and start grabbing jerseys.

Good to see scoring come from all sorts of plays and players.

But honestly up and down shoot outs are a crap shoot. Not the type of game you want to get into with the WArriors down the road.

Derozan was clearly fouled by brewer on that lay up attempt! Had that been called and assumming derozan sinks both free throws, would of been tied and both team would have one possession left.

yup 8 against 5, makes it difficult to win! NBA officiating is pathetic! First time I can recall a 3 useless tits being escorted from a Toronto sporting event surrounded by security guards!

That was a hell of a game, too bad those idiots were too busy affecting the out come to see what was really going on! The thought of the crappy NBA officiating bothers me as the playoffs get closer.

gfe says they are letting them play more now, not what I saw yesterday! If they had let both teams play no telling who would have won!

It was an entertaining but frustrating game!

L2M report says derozan was not fouled on that lay up attempt. Per nba rule, the ball-handler's hand is considered part of the ball. Wtf!?!?
I see that shit getting called all the time. Thats fucked up!

IMO that is the league trying to protect their refs. I have looked at the L2M reports and just wondered WTF! At least get the whistle blowers on the same page so the teams can figure out what the calls are going to be, cause they aren't by the book! Watched parts of the Cavs/Bucks last night, James has a lay up blocked and stands under the basket with his hands in the air for a few seconds, if that was DeRozan or Lowry guaranteed T. Raps get minimal to no respect, Masai has to start bitching to the league and maybe even publically. Make some noise and pay the fine!

that was an ugly win in Orlando, and I can't believe for how badly Celtics have been lately that they beat OKC with a huge come from behind in last few seconds. Oh well, it comes down to the Raps showing up with their "A" game against Cleveland twice and Boston twice in the last 10 games. More importantly doing it without risking injury for the playoffs

Win is a win is a win! Without DD and Fred they took Magics best shot. Celts without Smart and Kyrie are very beatable nowadays. Without Kyrie they are just a good team. With Magic win, a Raps can't finish lower than third and win tonight guarantees a top two. And .500 in the last 11 games gets them top spot. Get fit and healthy for the playoffs and I think we are set for a great run......."
...that is if the refs get their shite together......:yo:

Just take the W, wasn't pretty but it got done!

Speaking of wasn't pretty......Thunder up 5 with about 20 seconds on the clock, gave up 2 unanswered 3's. One of the guys calling the game read off some phenomenal stat about NBA teams winning when up by 5 or more with 20 seconds to play. That stat took a hit!

Cavs tonight in Cleveland, and they are getting healthier, should be a test and you know the King and his men will be ready. Love is back and he makes one hell of a difference! I just hope the whistle blowers don't decide the outcome!

Actually the Raptors pretty much have top spot in the East rapped up, Raptors actually want Cleveland to come in third place so Cleveland winning tonight would be a good thing in the long run. That way, if the Raptors face Cleveland in the playoffs, with Cleveland coming third, the Raptors would only face them in the eastern conference finals. Let's face it, Lebron is still the best player in the EAST, a few bumps and bruises before we would have to face him would be good.

Cleveland-Toronto was entertaining piece of offensive basketball. Come playoffs it'll be the team that plays the best defense. I've notice Powell seems to be an often forgotten piece of the puzzle. I actually think he is one of our best options guarding Lebron. Small enough to get into him and crowd him, and fast enough to stay in front of him. I also expect Pascal to get better defending every time he sees him. Maybe one other thing is to see how having Nogeira clog up the center on Lebron charging the basket might allow everyone else to stay closer to JR, Hood, and Love on the 3 point line. Otherwise I'll leave it up to Casey to figure out defensive schemes. I think the real knock against the Raptors in years past has been an inability to score points. Or at least at the same rate as well as Cleveland and other top teams. that's no longer an issue. We've scored 125+ against Cleveland twice and big points against Houston and OKC. Defense will get us to the promised land.
