The early number was 39 but I expect that to come down to 37.5 by game time. I don't see more than 30 total points scored. Buffalo has improved d and that's all the J-E-T-S have.

* NO -7 against the Skins
* Det -7 against the Rams
* Hou -12.5 against the Dolphins

Games to cover

* Bills +2.5 @ the Jets
* Giants -3.5 against the Boys

My best bet this week is Eagles -9. They need to make a statement, and Cleveland should be terrible again this year.

Week 2 is a tough one. My best bets Min -2 at Indy, TB +9 at NYG and Balt +3 at Philly (I like Ravens outright). Seattle as 3 point home dogs against Dallas also looks intriguing.

NFL is so wacky that Eagles could lay a pounding on Baltimore after nearly losing to Browns. That game has trap written all over it.
