The only nit to pick was the Bulls' consecutive losses to the Sonics in the Finals, but they were up 3-0 by then and seemingly bored with how good they were.

I remember that series. This was my first clear evidence that the fix was in even in the NBA. Let me elaborate. This Bulls team was the best team in NBA history they killed everyteam they met all season long and was on course to white-wash the playoffs until they lost 2 to the Sonics IN SEATTLE.

Game 1 (1996-06-05 at CHI) CHI 107, SEA 90 CHI leads 1-0 (Box Score)
Game 2 (1996-06-07 at CHI) CHI 92, SEA 88 CHI leads 2-0 (Box Score)
Game 3 (1996-06-09 at SEA) CHI 108, SEA 86 CHI leads 3-0 (Box Score)
Game 4 (1996-06-12 at SEA) SEA 107, CHI 86 CHI leads 3-1 (Box Score)
Game 5 (1996-06-14 at SEA) SEA 89, CHI 78 CHI leads 3-2 (Box Score)
Game 6 (1996-06-16 at CHI) CHI 87, SEA 75 CHI wins 4-2 (Box Score)

You see the Bulls never won a championship in Chicago so Phill, MJ, Pipen thought hmmm, we need to win a ring IN Chicago how can we throw a game and make it look like it was legit??

Here's how for one game in Seattle lets say Pipen and Harper was hurt and couldnt play, that would give Payton and the boys a chance to win.. Man this game was so funny and blatent I almost pissed myself. I remember Pipen was getting killed on defense by Nate Mcmillan.lol, yeah right
Mcmillan just came back from back surgery a few weeks before.

All of a sudden Harper goes off with a suspect injury and Pipen sits the same game with a mysterious ailment..lol

Anyways with Pipen & Harper sitting out this game in Sea they lose and at the ending of the game the camera zooms in on MJ who is just laughing to himself and looking up at the clock. So the Bulls were on course to go undfeated and win a ring and they lose a easy game in Sea and MJ's laughing?
I don't think so.

Here's the clincher, the next game all of a sudden Pipen & Harper play and have amazing games like they were never ever hurt. The Bulls kill Sea and win their first ring at home.

Phill and MJ wanted to win a ring at home for a change thats why they THREW that game in Sea.

I beleive this 100%

The San Antonio Spurs better win the NBA title this year, it will be the last time they do.

After this summer Tony Parker is going to suffer "The Guy Ritchie Effect" and his career will go straigh to hell. After all the times that Eva Longoria has embarrassed him publicly, I cant believe that he's actually going to marry that skank.

Just walk away!

Lets not forget the Mavs beat the Heat last year in the first two games .. 90-80 and 99-85 ..

I am not going to say Cavs are going to win but lets play a home game in OHIO before we judge this series ..

Two good things about last night's blowout:

1. The next three aren't in Texas.

2. Most everyone was watching the Sopranos.

It didn't help the Cavs that last night's game was not in Texas. Looks like the glass slipper will be thrown in Lake Erie on Thursday night.

and another good thing about last night - was that everyone was watching the no-hitter by Justin Verlander of the Tigers.

Guys is it the Spurs who is making Lebron not have a Wade type of Final or
is it James not able to give us a Wade type of performance ..

I think Wade had Shaq in the dressing room to kick him in the butt if needed
and take the pressure off him to prefom and not worry about leading.
James has a dressing room of yes men and doesn't have a guy like
Oakley or Wallace to answer to if he isn't playing good ..

Your telling me that the Cavs are going to play crap with the Spurs?
did they not make it to the east final? and beating Detroit 4 games straight?
Cavs are playing crap against the Spurs. There one win away from sweeping the finals. I told you so!

Its not that the Cavs are playing crap against the Spurs, they can't play any better. The Spurs are a more talented team than the 1 man show team called the Cleveland "Lebron James" Cavaliers.

DQ - you seem to be a little quiet these days? I told you that the Tigers would pick it up and are now tied for first with the Indians who can't seem to win a game lately.

Cavs win the next 4-seriously.

...the Cavs had the Spurs playing their worst last night..and still could not muster a way to get a win. As boring and uninspiring as the Spurs are, history will show them as being the best team in the last 15 yrs.,the closest thing to a dynasty that you will see in todays sports world.

Gotta love that last second shot that Anderson Vera-flop tied to make...a lam spin move agaisnt Duncan..meanwhile King James was a few feet away from him ..waiting for the pass back that never came. If the Cavs management is smart..and starts etting some more talent around James, his time will come...just not this year

Come on to say that Lebron does not have a Wade like quality because he doesn't have a Shaq or someone else to kick him in the ass? To me Lebron seems to be one of the more mature young superstars and his play up to this point in his career has not required an external kick in the butt. He plays hard and is certainly willing to initiate contact and does have a killer instinct. But here's the problem he is going up against the Spurs who have dealt with many superstars in the their many runs to the finals. So I give credit to San Antonio for bringing their A game.

I think San Antonio wants to win home so they will let cavs win!~
Yeah but the next 2 games are in Ohio so do you think they will let them win 2 ? You probably thought ( like me ) that it was 2-2-1-1-1 but its 2-3-2 this year.

I remember hockey switched back and forth for a bit , so I assumed the same about basketball .

Those damn assumptions of mine ....

Too bad about the Pistons. They're on a downward
spiral and its doubtful they'll repeat. That 1 man show
did a commendable job against your Pistons. They
never lived up to expectations. Only 1 championship
out of 5 tries.

Notice, I never ragged on you after the Pistons took
an exit in 6 games - as predicted. No need to.
Who is ragging?

I just pointed out that its not that the Cavs are playing crap against the Spurs, they can't play any better. You have to agree DQ, the Spurs are a more talented team than the Cavaliers

As for the Pistons - I'm happy with our 3 titles - so far - comapared to the big 0 for the Cavs.

NBA Titles for the Pistons
2003-2004
1989-1990
1988-1989

Ragging will start come college football season - when OSU pays a visit to the Big House on Nov. 17 and the Wolverines give the Buckeyes a beating!!!!! :D and the Wolverines are crowned national champions - GO BLUE!!!!!!

As for Tigers - its a long long season - at the end - we will be on top.
