Yep. Now the largest single mass shooting in US history in terms of body count. A tragedy of epic proportions.
According to the shooter's father it was precipitated by him seeing two gay men embracing recently. I don't buy that for a second, i'm sure in his 30 years of living he's seen that happen multiple times. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see another connection to this - perhaps a radical Imam or mosque. We'll have to see what the investigation unfolds.
