15 years for this? Why is the Wests justice system so soft? He should be castrated, tortured for days, then executed for something like this.

The child will still be a minor by the time he's released.

I've read that too.

Killing, drugs, gang stuff can get you respect. But even among crooks, taking advantage of young kids is not something to brag about. It is shunned and a sign of weakness.

Can't speak for the U.K. but Canada has made a number of rule/law and enforcement changes in recent years to crack down on pedophiles and each time the usual suspects would protest "gross violation of our Charter rights". It appears that some people believe pedos are entitled to enjoy kiddie porn in private without fear from the law.
