Ummm... CC the European flag has 12, not 13 stars... The circle of stars is supposedly a symbol of unity (a bit of a stretch, given current politics). The number of stars does not represent (and never represented) the number of members states.
Even though there are 28 members in the European Union, the 13 stars represent the original 13 members.

You are right on checking this info I find that the 12 stars on the European Union flag represented the 12 original nations of the union when the flag was chosen, but by the time the EU was inaugurated there were already 15 nation. - It just goes to prove that not everything you see on the internet is true.

Rather it was in response to your Q as to the most frequent country of origin for immigrants to th State of Florida. Sometimes I am on the run in the morning preparing things for later in the day and updating the trivia thread as I am rushing out the door. These two questions used a similar graphic was confusing. So The country of origin of most new immigrants to Florida is Cuba is correct.
My guess would be New Zealand?
