I believe the answer you are looking for is a tuxedo. However, it did not apply to all the actors who portrayed Bond. Pierce Brosnan was the only actor to sign a contract clause stating he would not wear a tuxedo in any non-Bond movie (not in real life), that's why he wore his tuxedo in The Thomas Crown Affair with an unbuttoned shirt, and an untied, white bow tie around his neck.
