Duty is paid on percentage of alcohol So......if you want to bring in more - declare it and pay. Canned beer (5% alcohol) is still a good deal after paying taxes and duties. You come out $10 a case cheaper. Rye or other booze at 40% alcohol works out to about the same price.

Over the counter medicines like Advil , cough syrup etc is always cheaper in the States especially if you buy the house brands in the drug stores and Big Box stores.

As I read this, I believe Jake is not complaining about anyone. It sounds ike he has some problems in his life and seeing a SP did not provide the help he expected. And yes, it would appear his expectations were incorrect from the start. I hope you find someone to talk with Jake.
