I agree alcohol is not as addictive as nicotine. That being said, note that heavy smoking doesn't lead to offenses such as impaired driving causing death, domestic violence and vandalism. Healthwise, liver cirrhosis is as bad as lung cancer. Alcohol hands down causes more misery than cigarettes.

I for one consider drinking alcohol to be a bigger vice than smoking tobacco. The society is probably in disagreement with me. Drinking Molson is cool while smoking is bad for your health.
