He won't accept it, but I don't believe he will be able to do much about it because it will be too big to rig.

I hate to break it to you guys...lmao....Trump isn't running...so he'snot losing...and to be honest...both DNC and the GOP are having problems....the Democrats are getting replaced by socialists and the RINOs are getting replaced by MAGA, maggots (in Squeezy's words)... And why are we still talking about the Americans? Isn't Carney steering us to the EU? shouldn't we focus on that? Aren't we severing our ties with the US?

They’re democratic socialists. They’re capitalists who also believe that with great wealth comes some responsibility to care for the society that helped create it.

Oh my. The sky is falling. What a horrifying concept. Western civilization is crumbling before our very eyes. We should all panic.

I mean, it’s not as though Trump isn’t already practising his own peculiar form of Republican socialism, picking winners and losers, intervening in markets and using the power of government to favour the industries, companies and constituencies he chooses.

As for Carney, steering Canada toward a stronger partnership with Europe is a good thing. It could open up greater economic opportunities, reduce trade barriers further, deepen cooperation between our militaries, and potentially make it easier for Canadian and EU citizens to live and work across partner countries.

Much of that is speculative at this point, obviously. But it points toward something bigger: Canada becoming more economically and strategically integrated with like-minded partners, with more opportunities for Canadians rather than fewer.

That sounds less like something to fear and more like the promise of a stronger future.

So what are the bets. Will dump claim it a fake if (when) he loses
If the so-called Blue Wave does crash and the GOP loses control, he will call it rigged or stolen. But, will anyone believe him, outside his cult?

The reality here is the GOP at both the federal and state level has done as much as they can to rig the game already. They've re-drawn districts to minimize Dem votes, they've cut the number of polling stations specifically in those districts, and they're trying to mess up the mail-in ballots. They will likely have ICE or FBI agents near polling stations in an attempt to intimidate minorities from voting. And, I'm sure X, TicTok and the other social media platforms operated by right-wing billionaires will pump a lot of disinformation to discredit Dem candidates.

However, Trump has become the most unpopular president in modern history (well, for as long as they've been able to do opinion polls). His policies and actions have caused American consumers to pay more for nearly everything. The number of food recalls in the past six months is staggering. The war in Iran is going poorly, in the sense that Trump has not achieved any of his stated goals and the end does not appear to be in sight. ICE and mass deportations have become incredibly unpopular with a majority of Americans, and those policies are hurting farmers (who are also very pissed about losing soy contracts or the importation of Argentinian beef).

Now, will a large number of American's believe Trump and his $5,000 bribe? It's possible. Judging by the anecdotal evidence, there are a lot of MAGAts who think its a done deal. But will anyone who is intelligent believe this? Or will this be different from the DOGE and tariff divideneds?

Nice of you to claim the GOP is "rigging already" while we have Massachusets and California rigged it decades ago and you say nothing about it.

I'm admitting Trump will be replaced....in 2 years....or when he croaks...lol. meanwhile...you should enjoy having him as POTUS since you believe he's your president.
Question: .

Trump vs. Carney in the next election right here, who would you vote for?? Come on, just use your imagination and humor me; I will not judge you on your answer, at least publicly...LOL

I'm looking forward to him being a lame duck, getting impeached yet again and spending the rest of his term in court or a nursing home.
Then america can end their stupid war in Iran and tariffs against Canada.

You simply can't help it can you? While others here are discussing their disdain for Trump and how he "threatens" Canada, you do a turn around and make it about Iran...lmao.

Right....Funny how you pick two states that are considered above average for gerrmandering: ***EDIT*** this should say "above average for a lack of gerrymandering."

Interstingly, the majority of states with a poor rating are GOP controlled....

I do...just like Cali and Mass...right?
Far from it. You should try to educate yourself. I'll give you an easy example: Trump called on Texas to re-district to help the GOP win more seats. They did it, despite the fact that they were not allowed to (there is supposed to be 10 years between re-districting). They just did it. No referendum or anything like that. California, in retaliation, fought back. But, they did not unilaterally do it without permission. No, last November they had voters give their say, and it passed. Do you see the difference? Probably not. And, as pointed out in the site I linked to you, both CA & MA are considered above average for a lack of gerrymandering. But, you chose not to read it, or pretend that it some how proved your point...Which again, is total bullshit.

We all know the GOP clings to power through gerrymandering. It's shown across the electoral map. I'm not saying all blue states are free from this sin, but so many Red ones have broken their own rules in the past year to help Trump stay in power by re-districting to hurt Dems. You cannot argue against that, its a fact. It is reality.
