Yes. Many fond but hazy memories. I'd head there after class at U of O. Usually 2 girls around, bored shitless. We'd head out to the parking lot to smoke up until the cops found a body there and it spooked the girls. They were gone at 6 pm when it became a respectable place.
I also remember the old Grand Hotel before they tore it down to build the Rideau Centre. Usually a couple of peelers there too.
The CityTV reporter said it best, when the roof burned off.

No. It burned down several years ago allegedly due to issues with organized crime, bikers etc - but I don’t recall ever seeing a reported cause of the fire. Was an old run down building so could have been started by many different electrical or equipment issues as well….
I miss barbarella's . The lunch hour was so much fun , myself , Juicy and Jenny were always busy ! It was good times ! Now you don't see that much gentlemans ever in daytime. Sometimes i think of going back to dancing " just to see" but the big money days are long gone .

Does anyone remember Chandra Fayme ? She toured Canada, and won a Miss Nude Canada title. She would often be a feature at Fanny's, Pigale and Barbarellas.
