Love the word "convenience-motivated" . It really is because of convenience and lack of preparation. If one make a meal plan on Sunday for the week, he wont touch this junk food. I personally find myself going to or ordering fast food becaus its quick and easy but its becoming crazy expensive. A family of 3 can cost now $50-$65 to eat fast food (picked up, not delivered) and the funny thing some restaurants with real food arent that far from this price range so why eat junkExcellent video CM
Best lines in it were the fact that these chains have not followed inflation, but are just figuring out how to extract more money from customers AND who can reheat Sysco processed foods better.
I've cut down my convenience-motivated fast food purchases by 90%.
same and not even because of some moral health wise issue but simply because why am i going to pay these exorbitant prices for fast food which is meant to be cheap fast and easy when i can just cook something up at home for a fraction of the price? i think the last time i had mcdonalds was around 2 years ago when i bought a big mac meal and it cost damn near 20 dollarsExcellent video CM

I've probably hit once every other week now. And its usually sushi. Occasional wood oven pizza, and a cheap Chinese food place. Other than that home cooking. Fish three times a week, chicken twice. Lots of fresh veg.Excellent video CM

exactly its just not worth it now because for the same price you could get a whole ass home cooked meal, the whole point of fast food was that it was cheap and easy now its neitherInexpensive fast food went the way of the Dodo bird a long time ago. It's all about the corporate bottom line anymore. The only time I'll occasionally use them - A&W and Harvey's only - is when I have discount coupons.

I do the same except it's mostly chicken or turkey and I tend to stick with frozen veg because it keeps longer (I like to cook in bulk so I'm not cooking every day and frozen veg helps with that)I've probably hit once every other week now. My recent blood work came back perfect except for a 3.8 cholesterol (normal is 3.5)
Costco has great Salmon and Trout. I also use Basa and Pollock for white fish. Hit the market for occasional expensive fish. I cook daily so Its easy. Trout and salmon broiled, maybe 10 minutes. White fish flour/herb dusting and pan fried. I make rice in large batches.I do the same except it's mostly chicken or turkey and I tend to stick with frozen veg because it keeps longer (I like to cook in bulk so I'm not cooking every day and frozen veg helps with that)
Blood work came back perfect as well, the wonders of having a normal healthy diet eh?
