Don't worry, those are ethical data centres, ignore the fact that they'll cause pollution and suck up all the water they're definitely ethical that's why the government is allowing them to be built and definitely not because they hope it brings in some short term money with long term negative effects.

Despite the number of forest fires being in decline since 2000, we are seeing more and more area being burned. In fact in 2023 and 2025 the graphical representation of the area burned exceeds the number of forest fires recorded for the first time in 55 years. What this tells me is that we're doing a comparatively poor job in managing our forests. But of course the climate bed betters want to blame global warming for these which is provably utter nonsense.

Normally I'd laugh at this, but unfortunately a substantial number of Americans would see this as real.
The facts are fires are increasing globally and the boreal forest is no longer a carbon sink, the fires mean its now adding CO2 to an already increasing climate change.
