A ball didn't have to be hit to him in order not to have touched the ball while playing in both games of a DH!What baseball player played in both games of a Double-Header , but never touched the ball?
Correct!, totally unbelievable!
A ball didn't have to be hit to him in order not to have touched the ball while playing in both games of a DH!
He could have touched the ball during a DP, a forceout, a pickoff or a relay!
(It's hard to believe that not one of them ... didn't happen during the course of a DH!)
Another thing: It is rather hard to believe that not 1 ball was hit his way during the course of a DH!
Balls could have very well been hit his way .... but, due to a marginal defensive skill set he was unable to get to them!
So, Toby Harrah could be the answer to the trivia question ....due to his marginal defensive skill set as opposed to just a statistical MLB fluke!
