Jays face Max Fried on Sun., in reg. season Jays have a 2 are 2 against Yanks when he has started.
Yanks will see Yesavage for first time on Sun., that's in Jay's favour to win, hopefully they will be up 2 games heading into Bronx.

yes! Schneider has made sure no potential playoff team has faced Trey. Very smart. Note Trey is pitching today because he is rookie. Pitching him in the Bronx might overwhelm him but not a vet like Beiber. Very well thought out .
Starting GUassman on one less day of rest than is ideal for him certainly was well done.
But i do question putting Santander into playoffs. Something like 2 singles in 12 at bats with 8 strikeouts.
But Scneider feels he is close but the playoffs are not a trial period.

Note Treys succes against new batters is his arm angle. What i mean is batter starts to swing by watching the release of ball. Trey arm angle is higher up than most., if not all, other pitchers. This means the batter is looking more up than
they are used to and that means they need repeated looks at the angle to get used to it.

amazing what they are doing to FRIED. They are frying Fried one of the games best !

The reason is he is a strikeout artist and the Jays don't strike out. Over the season his strikeout ratio is half against the Jays.

Wht a show ! 5 to 0 after three . There is no Santander playing striking out to snuff a rally
as normal for him

meanwhile Trey is striking everyone out but walks Judge.

Second time through lineup see what the yanks can do .

WTF just stuck out Judge ! Announcers are incredulous.

Trey will be good for game 5 as no tommy john issues like Bebier. If Beiber pitched to day he would not be good for game 5 but Trey is

Schneider is looking like a quiet genius

10 strikeouts in 4 innings this is crazy! 2 balls hit fair and one walk no hits even second time through they strikeout

WTF! A grand slam from Vlad this has gotta stop

Nobody is talking to Trey the no hitter silent treatment

Vlad follows Vlad with a 2 run homer

Game not worth watching in the sense it is over and one sided beyond recognition of a playoff game aginst the mighty Yanks with their star pitcher starting

Pull Trey during a no hitter?? Save him for game 5??????

I say pull him. This is the playoffs no egos involved

Schnieder pulls him after 5 and a third no inning no hitter . Very solid move. Let some relievers stretch out with no game tomorrow and dont give the Yanks another look at him.

Standing O for Trey wth curtain call . The entire baseball world is watching and reveling

Wow, wow, wow!!! I have never known baseball game could be this exciting! Keep going,!
Have a friend who's into basketball bigtime, he finds baseball boring, told him baseball is not boring, its a game within a game within a game, a chess match between managers and between pitcher and batter, not borin at all.

Yankees rely too much on their homerun hitters, but when those go quiet they shit the bed

It sucks that he doesn't get his no-hitter, but pulling him is absolutely the right move
