People got scammed into buying EVs then paying a lot for battery issues and stuff. You weren't helping the environment out especially with how those vehicles are even made. I'd never get a EV or hybrid. And electric lawnmowers are crap af. Gas is king. Chumps got scammed while their rich celebs they idolize and promoted stuff fly around in private jets that use fuel.
i have no doubt some truly believe in the climate apocalypse as they have been force fed a lot of nonsense that just is not supported by the scientific facts
that been said they should have become more skeptical when
- massive efforts were made to cancel / silence dissenting scientists -if your theory is sound, you invite skeptical questions as it is an opportunity to have your theory withstand scrutiny
- the alarmists starting linking climate actions to social justice issues. if there were truly an existential threat to our existence, then wealth redistribution is not a priority, the climate crisis is just a back door for implementing socialism, when the front door (the ballot box) has been denied
- it became apparent there was rules for thee, but not for me from clebs
- significant tax dollars were being allocated to enivor groups with no tangible benefit to be shown - my guess Steven Guilbeault becomes very wealthy from what originally were tax dollars or debt assumed by the government
