It is not PP lovers but the more discerning fraction of voters for the Liberals
looking to Carney to carry on climate warrior Trudeau's combat on climate
change who would be saddened. I am sure many climate denier voters
for the conservatives are relieved to see they have a liberal PM ready to
collude with the oil industry to put on a show of fighting climate change.
With Carney in charge rest assured the 40--50% emission reduction
target around 2030--2035 and the zero emission target by 2050 will
be flushed down the toilet. Meanwhile imbecile climate sheeple
voters for the Liberals will continue driving their ICE cars with no
abandon knowing their climate future is secure.
Watch the Smith interview in power and politics. The timeline may change but the goals will still be there, and she seems ok with that

oil sands industry. We will continue to produce and export oil into the
future after zero emission is achieved.
I am not bashing Carney. He is a better climate leader than Trudeau
to maintain growth of Canada's contribution to global greenhouse
gas emission.

China is POURING money and tech into net zero. If the world gets there it will be because of China.Both China and India have vast populations they still need to elevate out of poverty, so please don't compare them to CanadaLike net zero emission has been pledged by China, India and Saudi Arabia.
