In case our fellow punters don't know doxy prep is a 200mg dose of doxycycline taken soon, but no more than, 72 hours after sex. It has been shown to dramatically decrease the odds of getting bacterial based sti's (chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis).

Of course taking these all the time can mess up your native flora but if the condom breaks it's a good back up.
And also…this, many sex workers or those who and those in high risk for HIV sex are prescribed this, but it doesn’t prevent other STD
The HPV also might help as well.

I would imagine that doxyPEP would take a pretty low risk activity such as bbbj and convert it to a near no risk activity.

Seeing a provider who you know is knowledgeable and proactive about her sexual health is another reassuring factor.

Doxycycline might help with bacterial STD prevention but not viral like HPV, Herpes and HIV .

The only issue being that even as a low volume provider, if I used DoxyPEP after every bbbj, the risks and side effects of the Doxycycline would be worse (for me! I only speak for me!) than the risk of bacterial STI... so I use the DoxyPEP protocol after a... party, or an usually busy day, or if my intuition tells me to.

Good point, I guess you could be taking a dose almost daily, and I understand that some don’t tolerate it very well. (Tho doxy is taken daily by many people for other conditions eg acne, rosacea etc..albeit at lower dose).

It’s a roll of the dice, a roulette wheel. Most of the time all goes well, but when it falls apart, it really falls apart.

Pathogens do not discriminate, unlike their hosts.

IMO it’s harder to find a provider who offers safer services because it’s even harder to find clients who want to be safe. Especially if the client has a SO you’d think they’d rather be safe than sorry. To them the risk is worth it.

I was a safe service ONLY provider for many years and it was like pulling teeth getting guys to be safe in an industry where so many people are sharing bodies. You’d think it would be common sense but it’s not. It used to freak me out how little people cared for their sexual safety over 30 - 60min of pleasure.

I was reluctant but now I do offer both CBJ/BBBJ but your milage will always vary. I’m extremely selective in who I see now as well as opposed to seeing anyone willing to pay. (My hard restriction is no BBFS. I’ll never budge on that and I never have in the 14 years I’ve been in this industry.) Now I have much higher expectations for hygiene AND grooming and I inspect my clients like crazy. If I’m not comfortable I don’t do it. I’m always relieved when a client actually requests CBJ and they never feel like they sacrificed pleasure for safety because I’m really good at what I do and making them forget they’re wearing protection. I’ve never ever caught anything thankfully. I use a germicide on my body, face and mouth and ensure my oral and physical hygiene is impeccable before, between and after clients. The amount of toothpaste, mouth wash and germicide soap I use in a day is insane but well worth it.

I remember once when I first introduced the new service, I agreed to bbbj and when the client arrived he literally had an open wound on his cock… I put a condom on him after explaining that I will NOT put an open wound in my mouth and that he never told me about it before we agreed on services. He was genuinely upset that I didn’t do BBBJ despite the obvious open wound… ever since, I don’t promise anything. I say that A B C is what I’m open to doing but it entirely depends on YOU and your hygiene, your behaviour and ability to make me feel comfortable that will determine what we do and don’t do. That’s why I always appreciate the clients that don’t need a menu and just want a genuine connection that unfolds naturally like a REAL girlfriend experience. Especially if they are looking to be regulars and I become more and more open over time.
Your conscientiousness, at least to me and I'd argue quite a few other blokes, is what makes you not just a regular but in my ATF camp! (Of course on top of your beauty and personality...lol). (BTW being on top of your beauty and personality is an awesome place to be lol).

Anyhow, I've always felt this industry must police itself. The moment some sort of untreatable gonorrhea breaks out the federales will swoop in and shut it all down, costing ladies their samolians and the blokes their fun.
I know, many might say no big deal if ya get something, just take the antibiotics- but each time an infection arises, the odds of a mutation in the bacteria arises, which may lead to an untreatable form.

Ps I remember your cbj lol. Wonderful stuff.
Pss BBBj v CBJ - in general, i've always felt it was a wash - bbbj feels a bit better, but cbj makes you feel more psychologically comfortable.

I was wondering about this but Doxy does not really kill bacteria, it slows or freezes bacterial growth, i.e it gives your immune system more time to deal with it.

There have already been cases of antibiotic resistant gonorrhea in Canada and globally the WHO is worried that it become untreatable as strains have come along that do not respond to conventional antibiotics or even combinations or cocktails .
There are also guys travelling abroad in sex tourism and sex workers visiting Canada on the tours to add to the mix.
Raw is the third rail and is ubiquitous at the same time.

That makes sense.I'm not going to knock a lady for for doing it. I wish I could. I just can't stomach it.

I know what you mean about the open sore thing. I always make it clear what my restrictions are. I remember this one time a guy was really pushy. He kept pushing for bbbj because it "hurt" any other way. Well... fast forward and there was blood all inside the condom. Apparently he had seen so many sex workers that week he had an open sore that kept opening back up. It looked totally fine on first inspection. It was like a papercut. Logic would dictate that he just stops seeing sex workers and give his dick a break... but no. He decided to see more sex workers and try to get a bbbj. That guy is like top 5 reasons for me to not do it.

You know you are a sex addict when your dick is bleeding and you still want to fuck / get a bj. 🤦‍♂️

(Edit: and the fact that you want any bare service while you have an open bleeding wound on your dick tells me you definitely were not around or paying attention during the HIV epidemic).

That's a lot of nerve.

I once had a pimple on my member, rare but it happens, and that was enough to not visit any SPs for the week.
