You took this long to dig out something from over 12 years ago ... brilliant

Why don't you try something more recent like this simple ask google:

Is Canadian Tire financially successful?

Canadian Tire Corporation Ltd., a retail company headquartered in Toronto, had revenues amounting to approximately 16.66 billion Canadian dollars in 2023. This is an increase of approximately 4.7 billion Canadian dollars compared to 2012.

Oh, all I saw was the stock photo and the date on it was from 2012.
They are restructuring for future growth. It's not saying it's in imminent danger of collapse like The Bay.
Unlike The Bay they are actually thinking of strategies for future growth and implementation plans.
Regardless they are still profitable and people do shop there. Unlike The Bay.

All retail is in trouble because of Ebay and Amazon.
It sucks, because The Bay always had good customer service

They are reselling on the internet for thousands.
Happy shopping.
Yeah I know… all I want is a water bottle and blanket. I can’t justify paying resell prices online.

Alright. Cool. I thought I was loosing it fully. Yea I agree it's not in immediate danger too. But man anytime I shop there it's dead. Who knows how things will look 10 years from now. Hope things remail strong at CT.

Some locations though are not busy so sure some should be closed down. The one in the Eaton Center is very busy.
