The main company Brookfield Asset management has kept its headquarters in Toronto. Just a subsidiary moved the headquarters to New York, that did not affect any jobs!!

The subsidiary is just The Brookfield Asset Management. All it did so was to widen its investor base.

However, the Conservative attack ads are also not accurate and are framed in a very dishonest manner.
The move of the HQ to New York was sanctioned on October 31st 2024. Yet, the Conservative ads lied about Carney instigating the move at the behest of Trump.
