Showing STI test results

Been reading various threads lately about condom "incidents", BB service "surprises", and so on. Some of the discussions have mentioned showing STI test results to prove "clearance" - for an independent I would assume directly, if an agency is involved maybe to the agency (but not sure).
I test regularly as we all should of course, and on the results sheet there is personal information - full name, date of birth, health card number. etc. So when showing test results as proof, I would think that a real photo ID would need to also be shown with the test results, or else how can it really be "proven" those results actually are of the person who says they are theirs

Would be interested to hear from those who have done this, and/or have some knowledge about this

Test results mean nothing because they are just a snapshot in time. HIV can takes months to show up after exposure as one example

Right of course, but still those threads I was reading mentioned showing test results - I would think if only to show "good faith" between the persons involved?
I would think this is not very common to do this anyway...

To be tested regularly is a smart thing to do - similarly my recent tests came back negative for everything - but to show it to the SPs your seeing, unless she asks for the results is overkill. But if it puts your mind at ease that's up to you but get ready for potential consequences if the SP(s) you've seen see you as a potential mark to squeeze more money out of you if they know your real name and address...the latter happened about 15-17 years ago to a couple of guys who thought they were invincible and untouchable...until they weren't and their divorces were very costly.

You'll probably have a hard time finding a SP who wants to share results along with IDs especially since some clients can become stalkers over time and some don't want clients knowing where they reside because a guy could memorize her address or something.

She would def feel diff if dealing with a legit business in the adult entertainment industry than a random John I'd think.

Good faith about what? That having unprotected sex is safer because they show a piece of paper? If you want to do it bare, go for it, just accept that rubber is better protection than paper.

Yes, can only agree! When reading those threads there were comments to that effect - saying there are really no "innocent parties"!

In this case the SP and client likely know each other's real name because they've known each other a while. in this instance, safe to show results to each other because of a trust they've built
from seeing each other frequently, otherwise NO.

I don't even get a printout of the results. My local health unit where I get my tests done, just says they call you if there is anything you need to know and I'm pretty sure she said if I wanted a paper record that I had to use whatever that online service the ministry of health uses where they send you a test kit and you send it back. Yeah, no thanks, don't need that arriving at the house. As it is, I already get my Viagra from Jupiter sent to work, I'd rather have to invent a story there than at home lol.

Frankly, I would question the motive of any guy in this who could readily produce a paper record of their test results. Why is that something you would carry around with you if not with the intent of doing bare sex? And again, if an accident happens, recent test results mean nothing.

Out of curiosity I looked up HIV and it has been declining over the years, but in some areas of Canada it has increased.

I use Teletest, and so far paying that "reasonable" fee every 3 months to me has been very much worth it! Soon as the lab or the Health Dept reports all results available online - very convenient!

This. I would simply assume a guy forged something at home to try to get BBFS. If I were an escort and a dude pulled that out of his wallet I'd immediately assume he's particularly shady (at a minimum).

If I understood correctly from what I've read, the testing was done only after client and provider realized something was wrong (condom broke for example). but again the much more important and sensible point mentioned above: careful avoidance of getting into those kinds of situations in the first place!

Yes. I was referring to some dude just showing up with "test results".

I think doubling back with test results is overkill. Honestly, if you get tested more than never, keep an eye on your sexual health, and otherwise stick to your safety red lines, and you're with a provider who shows every indication of doing the same, and who doesn't have lines well beyond yours, then try not to freak out and reassure her.

Assume she's on secondary birth control, and has access to other options. Then keep an eye on your junk, keep your junk away from other people, and get tested in a few weeks. In the unlikely event you test positive for anything let the agency or provider know. If it's an agency provider maybe suggest that you're willing to reach out via a contact method of her choosing if you test positive for anything. Maybe ask if she's on secondary birth control, and give her money for Plan B if she says no.

Anything else strikes me as too much.
