Niagara on the lake. Bnb, wine tours, antique places, several good restaurants, low hassle (easy drive). And yes will come in under 2k to a few super good days.

If you stay in the falls you can cut the accommodation cost, do the smarmy wax museums as well and add a few more days.

But forget about flying anywhere.

Another option is train to Montreal. Or drive.

I recently just did a getaway with an sp to kingston. Accommodations, travel, food, activities, all came within $1500 for a two night stay. Sp rate was on top of this.

Niagara is fun, easy and cheap. Woodbine also has a decent hotel with gambling.

SPs like gambling, not sure why. Although probably because I keep funding it and they keep the winnings. *lol*

Nothing makes a girl hornier than winning a bet with no risk.

i was more interested to know some package vacation deals.
Have you seen some of the cost / price for vacation? in the last week or so it jumped every where.

Where ever you go in the summer see if you can go now.

If you are talking flight and hotel not a chance. Especially if you are assuming a week? You need to plan 3k per head for anything decent.

Thats why I gave you options like I did.

What about a low-budget motel In Sarnia, with Chinese take-out?

Of course, you can take a bus to get there.

would you consider an all inclusive vacation? Theres 5 day getaways from Cuba that’s around $1000 PP 😊
the reason for posting here is that this forum is full of talented people. there might be some who are from the travel industry who might know insider deals. now whether they wanna share or not is their wish. lets beat the inflation with insider deals. any experts here in the house?

If you really want it to be romantic, you have to factor in who you're bringing. I agree Niagara-On-The-Lake is a really good bet, but if your partner isn't into wine, antiques, etc. it won't be that much fun for them.

If they're into art, try Ottawa. If they're an active person, Ottawa is a good bet too (snowshoeing in Gatineau, skating on the Rideau, etc.) If they're a foodie, Quebec City is a good bet, and you can take the train there pretty easily. Start with what they're interested in and go from there, or figure that out and come back here with more info and you'll get better responses that will be more suited to whoever you're bringing

Cuba is awful nowadays. Food was never good there but with all the shortages there even worse now. $1,000 would be a low end resort.
Don’t do it !
Of course if Ahri is going with me I’d go anywhere she wanted 😉
I went two years ago with a couple of friends who were on a budget it wasn’t that bad at all but then again that was before all the shortages 🤷‍♀️
