I'm not an unhinged sissy liberal that throws hissy fits if I hear something I don't agree with or like. If Biden said what he felt instead of some written fake statement I would respect him. Reiner was a dirt bag like Rosie, Baldwin, Ellen, and deniro etc.
Birf, what do you think of Nick Foley? Is he a sissy liberal beta just throwing a hissy fit?

Can't think of anything. Biden would feel up kids. Bidens wife bill was drunk on power and wanted him to run just so she could continue being first lady. The dems cackler blew through 1 billion dollars, imagine the mess she'd be. Lol
Well, ok.
Everything is going to plan for you, then.

First off, the worst president in modern U.S. history is your hero, the orange clown 🤡 named Trump.

He is actively damaging the U.S. economy, not fixing it. By virtually every meaningful metric, jobs, growth, market performance, and recovery, the numbers were stronger under Biden than they are now. Screaming culture war nonsense and bullshit doesn’t change reality.

Second, let’s get the criminal argument straight.

The person who needed the presidency to avoid jail was Trump, not Hunter Biden. Trump is the one with convictions, indictments, court losses, fines, and a lifelong record of fraud, grifting, and lawlessness. Hunter Biden never ran the country, never set policy, and never hid behind the Oval Office to avoid accountability.

Dragging Hunter out as a distraction is just that, a deflection. It’s what you do when you can’t defend Trump’s actual record.

You can keep obsessing over culture‑war cartoons and made‑up liberal boogeymen, or you can face what’s happening right now: Trump’s chaos, incompetence, and self‑interest are once again front and center, and the country is paying the price.

Grasping at the past, trying to blame Biden still won’t save him, and it won’t fix the damage he’s already doing. The Repugs, unless they figure out a way to cheat, will be blown out of the water like a Venezuelan fisherman during the midterms.

The article you posted is a bunch of nonsense and bullshit, and it’s clear it’s being weaponized for political reasons.

Rob Reiner and his wife did not abandon their son. Nick Reiner has openly talked about his long battle with drug addiction and mental health issues, and his parents repeatedly tried to help him. Nick himself said he was first sent to rehab at 15 years old and that he went through at least 17 rehab stays over the years.

Nick also explained that his periods of homelessness happened after he refused to return to rehab. That’s not parental neglect — that’s a painfully common reality with addiction, even in families with money and resources.

On top of that, Rob Reiner didn’t disown his son or pretend he didn’t exist. He worked with him creatively. Rob directed, and Nick co-wrote, the 2016 film Being Charlie, which is explicitly about addiction and recovery.

The film went on to win the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Voice Award in 2016 — an award given specifically for responsible portrayals of addiction and mental health.

Rob Reiner also has two other children who live normal, stable lives, which completely undermines the idea that this was some kind of systemic parenting failure.

What’s really happening here is obvious: because Rob Reiner has been outspoken in his hatred of Trump, your side suddenly wants to pretend his family tragedy is proof of moral failure. It’s the same ugly impulse that leads people to fantasize about dancing on the graves of De Niro and anyone else who dares say Trump is a clown and a classless POS.

Addiction doesn’t care about politics. Mental illness doesn’t check party affiliation. Using someone’s child, especially one who has struggled publicly and honestly, as a political cudgel is disgusting, especially for a side that made a spectacle out of Charlie Kirk's death and cancelled a bunch of folks who acted just like you are now.

If you actually care about truth instead of partisan cheap shots, you might want to start there.

Just to keep the record straight, Biden did not ultimately run in 2024. He absolutely hung on far too long, and that delay hurt the party but his exit wasn’t accidental or some Obama master plan. Pressure from within the party, including Nancy Pelosi, played a major role in finally pushing him out.

Where I do agree is that the timing mattered. Kamala Harris should have had a much longer runway if she was going to be the nominee. Dropping her into the race that late was always going to be an uphill battle.

That said, I don’t think she was the strongest choice for the moment. A candidate like Josh Shapiro or Gavin Newsom likely would have performed better with an electorate that wasn't ready for a black woman to be POTUS.
This was a very well thought out post. Good for you. My only point of contention, is that I don't think Josh Shapiro will run for the Dems to be president in 2028. Reason being, Josh Shapiro is Jewish, and I don't think the US is ready to have a Jewish president. I don't mean to be anti-semitic, but that's just my opinion.

LOL..She was ahead of Trump in most of the polls when she got the nod...Somehow she managed to fall down your imaginary hill.

The Dems didn't run a proper nomination process. That was their issue. The American public could only hear '' What can be, unburdened by what has been '' so many times without getting a headache.

Sure, OK.....we shall see in about a year or so when someone gets a beating of a lifetime by the electorate because the American public could only hear "affordability is a Democratic hoax" so many times without getting a headache.

This is true, and this is why my hope would be for Gavin to run. He is driving Trump and the rest of the clowns mad.
" He is driving Trump and the rest of the clowns mad," is a terrible fucking reason to make someone President.

You need someone who can hit back hard and appeal to male voters. At the same time, Gavin is articulate and would be a clear upgrade over both Trump and Biden. I like Pete Buttigieg, but realistically, in my opinion, as a gay man, he would not win a national election in the U.S.

I didn't say it couldn't get him elected President.
I said it is a terrible fucking reason to make someone President.

A clear upgrade over Trump, which is all that matters.
Probably a downgrade compared to Biden, since Gavin's record on lots of things is quite shitty.
That said, Biden was better than his record would have lead you to expect, so it is hard to tell.

The problem with "electability" arguments is that the track record of experts guessing what is electable is pretty shitty.
That said, there is a whole mass of politically disengaged people who vote based on all kinds of weird shit and racism, sexism, etc are part of that.

Makes it very difficult.

I love AOC and have amazing wild dreams of her that I get so pissed off when I'm awakened to go take a piss. Unfortunately, there is no way she would win in the US. Governor, Senate ya, I could see it, but not the President. It has to be a white male in their 40's, 50's max.

I liked Biden, and he genuinely is a decent person, but he was simply too old. That said, the team around him was excellent, and they did a very good job. Despite the other side spewing endless nonsense and bullshit to claim otherwise, the numbers don’t lie.

So no worries re:

Trump's Secretary of Health, RFK Jr., with Trump's full endorsement, destroying many government health services departments, with his anti-vax policies reviving diseases such as measles that were formerly thought to be eradicated.

The likelihood, if Trump gets his way, that the Affordable Care Act subsidies will be discontinued in 2026, leaving many millions of Americans unable to afford health insurance, and then either not seeking treatment for illnesses or going bankrupt if they do need hospital care, not to mention surgery.

The tariffs actually increasing the price of goods for the average American consumer, while the 2026 tax cuts will much more favour the already wealthy.

The FIFA Peace Prize winner unofficially, yet for all practical purposes, declaring war on Venezuela.

etc., etc., etc...

It's the sexist and racist American electorate, not me! I would love to see AOC as POTUS and I would have voted for Kamala if I could have in a heartbeat, but you know that, you're just "playing" dumb.
IMO AOC is a bit smarter than Kamala...you mean the democrat base will vote Gavin (white male) over AOC?! What a racist sexist bunch...
