Canada's suburbs are better!
We in North America have become totally normalized to the car dependent suburban design of our urbanized areas. This suburbanization of our cities has been presented to us as a massive part of the American dream, but is it really? Much of the data points to it as a nightmare that has made our cities worse off than they were before. With increased pollution and our own happiness declining. Is there any way that we can fix the issues of car dependency caused by our suburban design? And possibly create a new American dream centered around something other than mcmansions and car traffic?
