What they are really considering is how they can turn this into an "assassination attempt on the right by the left" thing.
That would keep the chaos alive and successfully distract from the Epstein files.

He's dead nuts right.

China, India and other second and third world countries ARE gross polluters. Not just per capita, but overall far worse than the car/SUV addicted USA. And the pollutants DO get dispersed into the atmosphere, and cross international borders.

His use of the word amorphous relating to the atmosphere and border is appropriate.

Sure, we in the West are setting an example but nothing we are doing is going to change the trajectory of the climate or pollution when China and India are burning coal and low grade crude oil to generate electricity.

It's like the paper straws and reusable shopping bags choking sea turtles bullshit. We sequester almost all of our waste. Go to the Dominican, for example, and these people use the rivers that flow to the sea as their garbage bins. When an afternoon thunderstorm passes, all the garbage flows into the sea and if there is an incoming tide, it washes up on their beaches!

Gotta disagree with you here again.
US and Canada are way higher per capita. This is a per capita issue, every should do their fair share. Its also largely a 1% vs humanity, with billionaires being the ones pumping out the most CO2 while they greenwash everyone else into washing the recycling they won't use.
Costa Rica is totally renewable and now way more green than anywhere else in North America.
China is putting in way more renewables, as is India and most of the rest of the world.

We hit 1.5ºC, we will hit 2ºC in a decade or less and 3ºC a few decades after that. Once that happens we are committed to 20m ocean rise and we hit a number of other tipping points that could take the planet to a thermal maximum.

It wouldn't shock me if Trump's team did fuck up the teleprompter or the escalator...

But, that being said, an escalator suddenly stopping could lead to serious injuries. Imagine if they were going down and it stopped...They could've fallen and be seriously hurt.
