Using a sponge when on your period. Is it common ladies?

I met up with a really cute lady a few weeks ago to treat myself to some fun for an hour. I normally do 69 during my sessions and that day was no exception. Once we moved into position straight away I could tell something was off with a very strong odor. After about 1 min I asked for just bbbj for a while before the main event. I was fingering her at the same time and felt something peculiar. I asked her what I was touching and she admitted that she was on her period and had a sponge tucked up in there so she wouldn't bleed all over the place. That kind of killed the mood and I would think that I would of been told before starting out. Is this common nowadays?

Nope. Perfect English. She has always lived in Oshawa according to her during one of our conversations. A tampon has a string attached to it for removal

Yes this is an old trick of the trade. Digits though with one inserted is strange. The whole point is to be able to provide fs while on your menstrual cycle unknowingly lol and should be used right before the act and taken out immediately after because it's not good for women to use.

Some women can't afford to take the time off during their period. Its common. Using a makeup sponge or cutting the tip of a tampon.

Ive considered this trick in the past when I had irregular light bleeding from an cyst but I dont think it really works.

Same with strippers. They're told to clip the string on the tampon and shove it in deeper or cut it in half. Obviously, it's for lighter bleeding. Nothing helps a heavy flow except changing whatever a woman is using regularly.

I think women should be able to be honest about their periods but men can be really immature about it. There are people that think we're disgusting for being on our period and would send us all to hut if they could.

I had someone super shallow comment on a post a few days ago and I would imagine someone like him would shame a woman for being on their period so we're taught to hide it. Some men think its disgusting to even talk about it or mention a period. We have to sugar coat it and dress it up so man babies can digest a totally natural thing.

Im sorry that happened but i would be more concerned that she HAD to work during her period and likely didnt have much of a choice for whatever reason. Im mostly implying financial difficulty.

We're in a very shallow business with generally very shallow sometimes ignorant people. Its easier to hide a period than be attacked for talking about it. I have to say "its that time of the month" because saying "im on my period' makes people mental 😂. Some people believe I shouldn't even answer my phone if im on my period.

I offer everything else when its that time of the month but people still mostly act like its contagious.

Generally men who grew up with women or had long term relationships get it. There are still lots of man babies out there that tricked a woman into marrying them so thats not always a good indication. Some people are just really cool about it and some are incredibly immature.

Also... youre not going to like reading this... but on the last days of a period when its the lightest and is likely when these tricks are necessary the blood turns a dark rusty color and smells pretty bad. Its not great. I hate that smell. It's like a period must.

I generally just do strap on my period but I remember when I was younger and I HAD to work and I had to douche and cut tampon strings. I just budget for the time off now and treat it like an unpaid vacation every month. Not everyone has that luxury though.

It is true that SOME women do this and it is because they are financially completely dependent on this industry for their living expenses. Trust me - most women don’t want to be working on their period in any job of any industry.

I was lucky and always able to take that week off. Many will remember my tours were 3 cities a month with one week off. I still take a week off in the summer because I like the time at my trailer and I have gotten use it.

Thankfully now I don’t have to worry about all that mess (literally and figuratively). I can bet that many of you guys have been with an escort while she is on her period and never know it. As Candi said - digits and DATY are usually off limits from my understanding.

I think women should be able to say they are menstruating and reduce services at a reduced price. Some only offer BNGs during that time. However, some can not afford to only work 3 weeks a month. I am sure some of you guys wouldn’t be able to only work 3 weeks a month so I think you can understand why some do it. I’m not saying what is right or wrong here, just telling it like it is.

Thank you for all of the valuable intel everyone and I completely understand why some women have to work during their period. I still would see a lady who is having her monthly but not to be told beforehand kind of left me with a bad taste in my mouth (literally and figuratively). I would have just chosen the greek or bbbj option instead.

Hopefully one day this will be the standard in the industry instead of the standard of secrecy we have now.

What we need to remember is that it is a natural body function, and to accept nature. Unfortunately, many men, and also women, attach shame to menstruation.

If women didn’t menstruate, ovulate, etc., we would not be here. Many times, and many a provider has informed me of her cycle status, and I accepted it. There are many ways to have fun between men and women. A bit of understanding and consideration goes a long way. Neither side has to be embarrassed or ashamed or feel inconvenienced.

I think that if you ever actually knew an escort on any type of personal level they don't talk about how much they like it. I come here and I talk how everyone REALLY talks and YOU want to hear people repeating back to you what you want to hear. Those people are here for marketing. I'm not here to censor myself to make myself more digestible to you. I don't care about you anymore than you care about me so... just so we're clear if you don't like me having opinions you don't need to read anything that I write.

Escorts generally make fun of other girls for even acting like they like it.

The boot lickers.

Some of us have had girlfriends and wives and fucked for "free" and not all SPs hate men. Some of us do this hobby like a few times a year and fuck great and enjoy being very intimate with the ladies we pick. Once again it seems like you and a few other SPs just hate on men and it's showing. On one breath you say you hate men and don't need them then you literally rely on men for your business and most aren't charging a lot for HH or H compared to some high end escorts. There's plenty of great ladies who still charge under $200 for HH and offer a decent menu. As I posted in your topic on the Lounge you should quit this job since it's bringing out the worst in you. Maybe you've dated the wrong guys, but there's still tons of great men out there. And some dudes here are married and seek a SP to fulfill a desire when their partner is perhaps some super conservative and not sexual much or you have couples these days in open relationships and are fine with their partners seeing others. Give it a break already...jeez...

I agree with this wholeheartedly, even in day to day life. I have lived with many of my long term partners and been with my current partner for nearly 5 years and I always remind them there is ZERO shame in being on their period or talking about it. It's a normal part of life. I've never understood why people find shame or embarrassment in it. I'm the boyfriend that will go to pick up my partner's period products from the store and feel zero ways about it or anybody seeing me do it. When it comes to SPs, if you're on your period just tell me straight up, it's not a big deal.

@thumper18474 @RedRedRed Both said it all really well.

Sinnamon Fairbanks has exposed herself as a misandrist on numerous occasions. This is no different. She fails to realize that not every woman in this industry is just like her and feels the same hatred towards men that she does.

SPs have bad clients and good clients. Clients have good SPs and bad SPs. There are some SPs who are terrible in bed, just as there are clients. There are some clients who are great in bed, just like SPs obviously. There's good and bad on both sides, it's about how you deal with it. Clearly, she deals with it by fermenting her hatred towards it.

Other SPs, y'know, the successful ones, like their good clients regardless of their performance in bed and don't like their bad clients despite their performance in bed. It's about personalities, connection, intimacy. Performance in bed is just part of the equation. Even successful SPs have clients they didn't like or have had to deal with the shitty riff Raff but they don't make it their whole personality and let it fully consume them to their core.

All women who get into sex work with misandry in their hearts may be successful for a time, as I understand Sinnamon once was. But like with all things, the truth will always come out. When it does, they lose everything, everytime, without fail. Men can be oblivious, yes. But we can also tell when a woman either hates/doesn't like us, or hates our gender. It's the reason they will ultimately be unsuccessful in this line of work. They are in it for the wrong reasons and are short-sighted.

To run a successful business in any industry, you have to love your customers. If you don't, you have no business. The customers are your life-line. Without them you have nothing. When your customers find out you hate them, they turn their backs on you because they don't want to support someone who hates them.

Not only that, this job is more than just sex. I like this job because of the freedom it allows me, I like this job because of the control it allows me, etc.

I’m never going to date again. I have no problem admitting I have been soured on relationships because of my ex. I have admitted that plenty of times on this forum. I don’t hate all men because of my ex though. This job gives me a certain power and control over the interactions I have with men. I screen men better in this job then I could on a dating app. I still get some male companionship without the need of a relationship. It’s a win win for me in this regard.

I’m also very fortunate that I don’t need to rely on this for income. So I can and do say no to many men. Enough that some come here and have expressed being pissed off at being denied. This naturally makes the job more enjoyable because I get to pick and choose and only choose the good ones. I have had a few duds of course but I don’t see them again.

I also work when I want and don’t work when I don’t want. If I am not in the mood, I just don’t work that day. Or that week. I have taken months off before. When touring, I hated winter driving so I never worked in the winter months.

All these little things that build up for some escorts and so they already feel like shit and then on top of it they now feel they HAVE to fuck someone. I don’t have that.

This idea that if we loved our job so much we would do it for free. 1. There is more to this job than just sex. 2. Plenty of people love what they do and get paid. A chef loves to cook but get paid. Some open their own restaurants and can get creative with menus and have great line staff that make it fun and enjoyable. And they get paid. Some work in a dive, with no support, shitty bosses and hate their job. Getting paid for a job doesn’t define liking it or not. 3. If you can get paid for things you enjoy, you would be stupid not too.

But like all things - if you HAVE to, you start to resent. Or in this case men in general. I will never trust a man enough to date him but I will spend a great hour having fun and getting paid for it. The key is boundaries, control, independence, etc. This is not possible for all women in this industry and that is sad. I wish it was. I wish there were no survival sex workers out there, but that doesn’t mean that because they do it to survive and may not like it that I can’t do it by choice and enjoy it.

Misandrist or not, she represents the side that you don't get to see here because people cannot bare it.

It's a privilege to work in this industry and actually like your client or like what you do. Not everyone does this job because they like it. Some doesn't have a choice. Doesn't make them bad provider.

She was right when she says that some cannot afford to take time off. She was right when she said some men can be a little bit childish and not accept how natural period are even if the formulation was rough.

Bottom line she might rub you the wrong way, but there is some truth to what she says and we shouldn't single her out like that for standing on business on how she sees the world and what she thinks. I like real people good or bad.
