Dua Lipa concert tonight at Scotiabank!

I love this woman's voice, energy, presence and the hard work behind her success story!

Was out with some friends yesterday and was playing some Dua Lipa and one of the girls said she loved her music too. We got to chatting etc and then... jsut a half hour ago she texts me saying she bought us floor tickets to Dua Lipa's last concert in Toronto, tonight at the Scotiabank Arena!

Woot, woot! I'm SOOOOO looking forward to it!

Pro-tip: If you are ever at a concert where you are really close to the speakers, use earplugs. Even the cheap foam ones. Not only do they protect your eardrums, they tone down the BLARING NOISE to better hear the music. I've used these ones from Amazon ones from Amazon that are specifically designed for concerts and they are awesome!

Anyone else going or a Dua Lipa fan? Any other concerts coming up worth seeing?

I had a beautiful summer romance with a 23 yo girl who looked very much like her in 2015 so I feel double the happiness seeing and listening to Dua. But what
I find most attractive about Dua is her story, courage, hard work and talent that brought her beautiful music and voice to the world.

I only became a fan in the past year when I Shazam'd the Elton John duet and lustened to her other songs. Her music is so uplifting and makes me happy whenecer I hear it!

Oh yeah, I can just imagine! A lot of her songs have strong but seemingly very personal sexual undertones. Sounds like she really used to enjoy her life going clubbing after her shows.

She's now deep in love with a guy who seems like a great fit for her in the next stage of her life. I'm so happy for her!

So the show was absolutely beautiful! This woman is so talented, smooth voice and a real musician. Was so well produced. Not over the top like Taylor Swift. And the sound levels were right on, not too loud, just full, rich, clear and room filling.

We had floor tickets and got right up to the stage edge so I got to see her natural facial expressions... those eyes!

The YT video below was from the previous night (Monday) but she performed it last night AND she looked right at me like she does at 0:38 in the YT video. It gave me this serotonin flush of warmth and happiness that I can't describe.

At 2:20 she has the same smiling, happy expression just like my 2015 summer girlfriend had! (That gf was a cross between Dua and Caitlin Clarke... I would have asked to marry her if I wasn't 30 years older than she was! Oh, but what beautiful memories...)

Listen to her cover of (the beautiful and talented Nelly Furtado's) Like a Bird with headphones if you can.. her voice is so smooth and she really gets into the groove about 1/2 to 2/3rs the way through...her vocals, swaying body...facial expressions... it's magical.

Dua Lipa is a very sensual woman, full of the pleasures of life. Two paisans cook together.

I hope she paid royalties for this song? Haven't heard anything negative.
