Or is there a LOT LESS reviews on this board these days. This is not me giving anyone shit. I’m not exempting myself from this. I’ve asked for opinions and intel as well. But I just feel like you go in the review agency and Indy sections and there’s more ppl asking questions than giving input and reviews.

Anyone have an idea why this is the case? I get there’s likely more will to ask then for intel instead of writing a review. But is there any other factors? Has the industry slowed down as everyday living has become more expensive? Is it just laziness or an unwillingness to share details. Are more ladies requesting or implementing NRPs?

It just feels like there’s a lot less useful information on here these days. Even some of the reviews posted don’t give you any real information that matters.

The review board culture is dying. Still good when it comes of advertising but from what I gather from my clients, they think most of the guys here are lounge lizard that are falling into misogyny, racism and they don't like the way they talk about the providers here. Not my words but I agree a bit. I see gents over 35 BTW. So maybe as they get older it becomes a little bit tedious?

Also the amount of people having multiple accounts and burning accounts talking to themselves in reviews are insane. So are reviews really valuable now? That's another question.

From my perspective, things have slowed down. I've talked to other workers, they feel he same thing. People just dont have the money right now. Cost of living has gone up.

One of the first things people tighten their purse strings on when the economy isn't great is luxury items. I pay attention to other similar luxury industries like tattoos and beauty / cosmetic industries.

When I start seeing tattoo artist advertise deals to be booked for the whole day and spas giving away crazy good deals I usually feel the same stress.

I have my regs but there's a distinct difference in the amount of money coming in last year compared to this year.

Even my regulars have been tire kicking. They just don't have the money. People I saw once a week are down to once a month and more people are complaining about financial issues and financial strain.

I wouldn't say “business is slow” but reviewing is. I see plenty of guys who read about me but do not post about me.

In the Durham section, the vets have been very good about pushing for reviews by flat out saying you get intel when you post intel. So when newbies are posting ISOs, they are told where the search button is and that they need to share information as this board is a 2 way street. I really applaud them. They have been bringing new reviewers to the surface, more warnings have been posted and I know some of us tried and true ladies have been getting good business.

There are still more lurkers then reviewers through. That will always be the case.

Maybe Toronto needs to do the same thing as Durham to help generate more reviews. It won’t get everyone reviewing but it will get more.

It is spring, slow season is over. Business is actually picking up a bit from my understanding so this is the time to turn lurkers into reviewers. You can tell business is picking up by the amount of ISOs being posted now vrs just a couple months ago. So it is just guys not reviewing.

I keep seeing my regulars because of scammers all over the place or girls that under deliver, and I’ve already made reviews for my regulars so 🤷🏻‍♂️

plus half the times I’ve been laid lately have been for free thanks to dating apps and lots of lay down ladies out there that are willing to have fun on first date

if I can get it for free off an app then that will be first priority lol

I actually thought the board is still alive as ever - reviews might be slower but I feel more and more that many gents don't have the time to write a brief review or maybe they just don't want too because they want to keep the SP for themselves. Either way - I feel the board is still alive and very helpful. As for the reviews - I will still write them as I still remember how helpful they were when I logged on here for the first time; and how I continue to find beautiful SPs that I would have never consider until someone wrote a beautiful review.

Reviews are way down compared to years ago and have never really come back. In fact, review rates went way down around 2014 when the prostitution law changed stating that guys would be charged if arrested whereas the law before that SPs would be charged. When the current law started, I'd say review rates dropped almost 100% in the first few months but started returning (very slowly/weakly) over the next few months. But at the same time IMO, I'd say overall review rates are down at least 20-50% from the good old days depending on the region. Adding to that the older guys on the boards and TERB are doing it less and fewer newbies write reviews but ALWAYS seem to be asking info about SPs without or rarely contributing, therefore less reviews. As the old timers "age out" (or die) there aren't the newbies to replace them because they're searching or using different platforms to meet/see SPs/MPs as previously mentioned.

I usually hobby a few times a week but this year ive cut it down to once a week. Business has been slow the last 4 months and both my regs raised there rates. The tariffs and economic uncertainty are hurting my line of work. I went from 40 plus employees to 11. I've also started going the agency route due to the fact the rates are better.

This is what happens. Business is not actually "slow". Just shifted. So many higher end escort or low volume locations maybe be slow but agencies or other touring locations will be busier.

Also for every guy who is in a financial rut is a guy who's position got better. COVID is a perfect example. Some business went out of business and others, like mine, doubled their business. Some even more then doubled.

This terb exists to help people share experiences so we won't get burned. Leolist sucks 90% of the time. Reviews are rarer now though because people want to keep their gems to themselves. If she gets popular the rates will rise. And they have risen more than inflation. The only section that has lots of reviews is the escort agency review section and that is probably mostly shills.

I don’t go to a restaurant just so I can write a google review after. Sometimes I won’t even review for years later and then I do. Or maybe not at all.
I think of it as ask and you shall find sort of process. Do you think this board is your friend or simply a resource?

If they’re at an agency the rates won’t rise unless rates rise with inflation?

Im hearing a lot of stories like that. Im sorry you're going through that. It will get better.

Respectfully that was not what I was implying. I understand that there’s ppl that come on here Igor information and don’t review. I just simply noticed that the sit has been stagnant. Someone mentioned previously that clientele are using other forms of social media to interact and learn more about providers and I agree. I’ve always (from day one use this forum as a place to gather info, whether good or bad and then make my own conscious decision on who to see. Not as a hangout. Hell, even less ladies are promoting on here from years prior; all for various factors. I understand there’s a good amount of ladies that don’t care for review boards, I assume that could be one. So I thought I’d ask these questions. Responses on this thread have been for the most part informative and appreciated. I do feel like the era of review forums is dying.

I'm new so I don't know the history of the reviews. But however few, the reviews help. And the SPs who respond to the reviews are even better. I often find that when you reach out to a lady, referencing where you saw reviews, the interaction overall tends to be better. This board has helped me to narrow down my search and be more discerning about who I want to see. I will always write reviews because it helps everyone.

There are also huge problems on each board that probably discourage people to post:

1. People that call every first time poster a shill. You need to start somewhere.
2. People that get mad at members that asked for ISO because they dont share enough so they gatekeep the infos.
3. Members that get litteraly humiliated if they send a deposit to the wrong person.
4. Being shit on for a link.

There is nothing welcoming in this attitude. Just like the escorts you dont like because they bashes their clients online, I will return the advice. "It's part of the game. If it pisses you off don't engage."
