Hmmm.... An alternative source of cheap protein for the pet food industry???
is there a national crisis in the pet food industry that required govt money ? No

That sounds a viable business concept.
let me help you understand something
when a business is forced into receivership , it was not a viable business concept.

have you eaten crow on election night when Pee Pee lost his own seat, let alone the election?
You're so blinded by ideology, you can't see they're all the same. Steak for me, bugs for thee.

The bugs are dog and cat food.
Not all of it. I'd like to see this guy eat pork.

CBC News reached out to Aspire Food Group, which owns the cricket plant. Mohammed Ashour, the company's chief executive, was unavailable for comment at the time of publication. Reached on Sept.16, Ashour said 10 per cent of the product is sold for human consumption. The rest is sold to the pet food industry.

Even if this was true and it was only 10%...Why would taxpayers be paying for pet food development?

Just another virtue signalling Liberal fraud.

I gave my vote to NDP not PP seeing that the Liberals were likely
going to win. I expect Carney's policies overall would be more or
less in line with those of PP at least in his early days on the issues
of tariffs, capital tax, immigration, climate change and the Ukraine war.

I believe PP as the PM would have met Zelenskyy in Rome and expressed
support to Ukraine like Carney. I just hope you and other Liberals would
not support Carney sending our troops to Ukraine.
