Eventually, I think Trump will settle on a much lower deal, but claim it's a huge victory. These stall tactics can't work for 4 years.

I think poor rural Trump voters will never change, even when he cuts off their benefits. But middle-class and especially upper-class Trump voters are not going ignore this.

They don't want to lose their jobs and they don't want to lose their investments.

It reminds me of Trudeau introducing the capital gains tax. His rich Liberal supports started distancing themselves.
