As the title says, now that America has gone to war with us, are you going to stop buying America as much as you can. Change from Heinz to French’s ketchup for example?

I have been looking at what I buy and it seems about 60-70% of what I buy is already Canadian or a non-American company. Like the wet cat food I buy is from Thailand for example.

But I usually buy gas from Costco so do I now switch to a Canadian Gas supplier? I usually buy a lot of Canadian-made groceries but I usually buy them at Walmart so do I go back to Superstore? I buy Canadian-made dry cat food but buy from PetSmart so now it will be PetValu. Easy enough changes even if it costs a little more.

For awhile now we have been moving away from big conglomerate to small business. Little things like dish soap, tooth paste tabs, tea, nut butter, spice blends. We hit farmer's markets in season. Niagara wine, ciders, alcohol, olive oil, vinegar, jams.

I try to make more things at home like soups, bread. Avoid processed food when possible.

It's been ongoing. More about healthy alternatives but this has increased our looking outside the box stores.

I am now looking at the labels at the stores to make sure I'm just buying Canadian products and not American. I'll even buy China products for that matter as long as it's not American. I'm also not going to be a tourist in the United States for a while.

It's not a nice country anymore. They are angry. They're hostile. There is too much crime. Too much gun violence, politicians threaten and insult and often their own people as they fight with themselves, they are not known as nice people anymore. They're known as bullies, selfish arrogant. They are now the assholes of the world.

Yes! I was already but I will even more. I am very enthusiastic with it. The Canadian producers needed that, it's a great opportunity.

You can make your own sourdough and it's delicious.

Your own nut butter too...If you don't shower for a few days.

Certain things are unavoidable.
Like I need to use Sensodyne toothpaste and that is American.
But most other food items I buy are all Canadian.
Fruits unfortunately are very difficult to get Canadian.
But I will do my best.

I'm not much of a consumer so it doesn't make a real difference for me.

Plus like half of America's product are made in China. I'll still try my best.

Thankfully spring is around the corner and farmers markets will open up. I can avoid some fruit until then. But my berries from Mexico or Peru instead for example.

Or buy frozen if they are not American. I haven’t looked into that yet.

WOn't change...I've always been Canadian products first... Canadian products are just as good as anyone else's...China's products are far inferior... I remember my first Jordan's was made in Korea...and it lasted about 7 years (played ball with it). Also remember buying tees from American Eagle that were done well and were "made in Vietnam"... not everything is made in US...they outsource it all over the world...including China. I don't drink liquor so...what else from US would I really need?

Totally 100% and have been only buying non-American products since January.

Also, and this is for all SPs who might read this, please consider including "Will Not See Clients Who Are US Citizens" in their ads. We need to be hostile towards the entire USA as much as possible.
Yup, no more Canadian pussy for American backstabbers! lmao.

I will definitely try try to avoid buying US products. To me its much more about NOT buying American vs buying Canadian.

LoL...Good times ahead in Canada...I'm staying right here to watch you squirm...
I don't know what you are talking about.
Let me remind you that in Canada:
- No mass deportations.
- No ending DEI.
- No vilifying transgender individuals whose rights are legally protected.
- No ending of social services and welfare.
It is you that is living vicariously and squirming here in Canada lmfao.

The last oranges I bought at No Frills were from Turkey, and they were just as delicious as the American oranges I used to buy.

Nah..you are squirming...I don't know how what's happening to the US makes you melt down...I mean...we're alright here in Canada...they have a meltdown over something that has minimal effect on you?
