he resigned from them. He has a fairly modest net worth of about $7m so he is not an oligarch. In fact Frank Baylis is probably the richest Lib candidate.
Carney said the decision was made to move Brookfield's headquarters from Toronto to NYC after he resigned. The problem is, when he was asked at last week’s Liberal leadership debate whether he supported the move, he said he was no longer chair when the formal decision was made. But documents showing the relocation, which he supported and encouraged shareholders to support in a letter, was done during his time as chair.

He argues the formal decision was made after he left. Brookfield announced the head office shift in a news release on Oct. 31, and Carney later signed a letter to shareholders, dated Dec. 1, that asked them to vote in favor of a corporate reorganization.

I can't wait to see Carney vs. Poilievre in a debate.

Johnny try not to get emotional. It looks like our exhalted PM wants to go out on a big bang.

What does this mean for the USA.

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/QXL31bDVsO8

so Justin is going to reverse his position that there is no business case to export our natural resources now that he is on his way out the door ?

if there is any big bang from Justin it will be irresponsible spending and stacking the senate & judiciary - so spiteful
the only reason he would do that is if he feared these options would not be available to the next ELECTED liberal PM

how many days before he is gone ?

If this is the biggest scandal that PeePee can find then good luck.
Carney needs to ask how PeePee has amassed $4 million while only working for the government, why his expenses are so much higher than anyone else and why he's the only who uses government paid servants.

It's the lying part that makes Carney look bad. He's also been caught in other lies.

You're hilarious. Carney would be all over Poilievre if he lied about being involved in moving a company to the US, after Trump threatened tariffs.

Are you suggesting Poilievre has committed a crime? Please provide proof.

Perhaps Poilievre made his money this way. https://www.pierrepoilievrenews.ca/...-journey-the-untold-story-behind-his-fortune/

'he said he was no longer chair when the formal decision was made'

That's technically correct according to what you posted.
Where is the lie?
