As far as I know, there were 3 NFL/ former NFL players that appeared in the tv show MASH. Name any or all of them.

See post #8952 for answer.

Gary Burghoff is one of two actors who played the same role in both the 1970 film M*A*S*H and the CBS TV series.

This is the other one:

Name the actor, and the role.

Was this on SCTV? I know that she did "Mr and Mrs T Bloody Mary Mix" on SNL, (S10E15; March 30, 1985), but she was Mrs T, not Mr.
It was on SNL, the episode you mentioned, it’s generally regarded as the first impression. Even Robin Duke says it was the first tv impression of Mr T:

Ono your MASH question is very obscure. Clint Eastwood's Tightrope is his most under-rated film, George Wood plays the conventioneer in the film.

General Hammond is George Wood.

This is Correct!, and the question post has been updated to acknowledge that.

In the future, however, please click the reply on the original question post when answering in the trivia threads, (ie: do not reply to a reply to someone else' reply). Finding the original question post is part of the game. Everybody gets one mulligan, and for a second infraction, they receive 'one and a half lines of Robert De Niro'.

Sample of 'one and a half lines of Robert De Niro':

There are hundreds of my questions in the three trivia threads which haven't been answered yet. All questions that I post are 'live' if unanswered correctly for two weeks minimum, and indefinitely until '
Stump' appears under the question. For Stumps, I quote myself, and provide the correct answer.

By all means, scroll through the back pages, and answer a few that everyone else here could not. The stated purpose of the Trivia threads is to generate maximum page views.

Please note that in the General TV Trivia thread, you are not allowed to answer one of MY questions a second time, after receiving a
red reply, but you can do that in the other threads, or for any questions posted by someone else.

These threads are also good 'popcorn reading', if you just want to acquire trivial knowledge, or to see how many answers you know, even if someone else knew them first.

Every so often I'll post a large batch of questions on the same theme all at once, at any time of the day or night. There are still quite a few Mob figures who haven't been identified in Trivia-o-Rama; those should be less difficult, for an Italian.

Scoring for my questions:

Everyone receives two points for a
Correct!

I receive one point for each Nope, Too Slow or Stump.
