All this is nonsense, Ukraine reports 13K civilian KIA Normally civvy to mil deaths are 2 or 3:1. for only 13K civvies to have died an unprecedented low. Yeah every war in history involves attacking a sovereign nation. Canada, and the West are at this moment complicit in the slaughter of Palestinians in a genocide that is orders of magnitude more barbaric then the war in Ukraine. Haha that is utter nonsense. Millions of Ukrainians live and work in Russia today. Thousands of Ukrainian POWS have been treated for injuries and returned in exchanges. POWs are even allowed to call their loved ones to let them know they have been captured and are safe. Only the ones in Kursk will probably get harsh treatment especially the ones that foolishly took videos that made them complicit in civilian killing. Russia actually tried and sentenced some Russian soldiers to life for murdering Ukrainian civilians. Let me know when the US or Israel does that.

Ukrainians have decided they want the war to end. In fact Zelensky ran on ending the civil war and implementing Minsk. Now he ignores his peoples call for peace and people like you cheer them to fight on as they capture young men on the streets like animals and send them to feed the Russian guns.

Speaking for myself I am not sure if I am taking the side of
Russia or the west. I wish to see the war ends asap. But since
people on the side of Ukraine would see the war ending at this
point to be a war lost I may be considered by the pro-Ukraine
crowd to be delusional.
To me this is akin to asking someone which of Mainland China
or Hong Kong they would rather live in before the 2019 riots
were crushed. I don't see the relevance of the question to
where one stands on the conflict. Many Chinese in the mainland
wished to relocate to HK prior to the riots but would agree
with the crackdown on the rioters. In fact more than a minority
of HongKongers supported the restoration of stability as well.
Ukraine has democracy which people from the democratic west
enjoy. Naturally I should have preferred to live in democratic
Ukraine. But as far as I know disparity between Ukraine
and Russia in the standard of living was nowhere as wide as
it was between HK and the mainland in the early 2010's.
So I guess my preference would depend on factors like
what job I landed on and which city I was to move to.

of Ukraine and Russia I would move to in my previous post.
North Vietnam didn't have democracy. But I was opposed to
the U.S. dropping hundreds of thousands of tons of bombs over
Vietnam.
Iraq also was non-democratic. But I was also vehemetly against
the unprovoked attack of democratic U.S. on Iraq. And yes I would
have preferred to live in the U.S. not Iraq.
