I would never call someone with his accomplishments stupid. If he is stupid, you must be retarded, Mr. I’ve never accomplished anything significant in my life.
Yes trump is stupid and people with accomplishments can be stupid. Accomplishments are bought with money that you get for being on the right family, it's a roll of dice.

As far as Trumps accomplishments go Trump lies so one must look at facts
He says he graduated from Wharton business college at the very top his class yet he is not on the deans list. His daddy got him into Wharton

He inherited his fortune then blew most of it
I judge Trump from what he says and does and from that perspective he is stupid
That is a classic case of "If one is wealthy, they must be smart" bias.
Smart people don't necessarily become wealthy or successful.
There are so many factors not in your control that govern one's success.
Yes, his dad got him into Wharton. The actual academics there in the business program are what you make of it and the curriculum is no more difficult than another business school. You just have smarter people in the class. You’re right, it doesn’t prove anything if you didn’t make deans list.

He did inherit, blew it, and then made it back again. So the inheritance should be thrown out. There are a ton of businesses that get major vc or private equity funding that are run by geniuses that end up failing. What does this prove. The most successful people in life are the ones who took on the biggest risks and failed along the way.

I agree to a certain degree, he is certainly not bright but that does not make him stupid as he came into politics as an outsider and won. Even though he won by lying about everything he still won so I would not call him stupid just not bright nor educated
I suspect his meglomania makes him do and say stupid things but I leave that decision to the field of psychology
